Details

We are seeking a dedicated Data Scientist Manager to join our finance team. This role is critical in supporting our strategic decision-making processes through detailed financial planning, analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of empathy and analytical expertise to the role, ensuring financial practices that align with our values of care and compassion.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the annual budgeting, financial forecasting, and long-range financial planning with a focus on operational efficiency and cost management. • Maintain and build data warehouse and connections to external sources• Conducts regression analysis, statistical analysis, modeling, exploratory data analysis and data visualization.• Responsible for identifying the methods, processes, algorithms, tools, and systems to extract and interpret findings from varied structured and unstructured datasets related to the data science lifecycle.• Utilizes visualization tools in Tableau, to help make financial decisions

Qualifications

• 7+ years of overall data science experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related quantitative disciplines (Master's degree preferred).

• Prior leadership and people management experience with multiple direct reports and proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members
