A San Francisco fintech startup, who is the leading national provider of renewable energy and energy-efficient financing solutions to property owners, is looking to add a Data Scientist to work directly on solving challenging modeling problems that relate to business problems they are currently facing. You will perform regression based models to help the marketing team determine what rates to structure on different loans to really assess the risk on each loan. You will need to be an individual who is ready to work through a fast paced startup environment.

Required Skills & Experience
B.S. in engineering or science or related fields
Experience building predictive models
1+ years of data science experience working in an environment with large data sets
Advanced knowledge of Python or R
Advanced knowledge of SQL

Desired Skills & Experience

Particularly through developing, improving and deploying deep learning models to production.</li> <li>Making our team smarter. Defining, calculating, maintaining and communicating KPIs for product and marketing. Building dashboards and answering questions for the wider team and clients.</li> <li>Research and development. Tackling the hardest challenges in the learning space, applying cutting edge ML techniques, figuring out what we can and can’t do, and generating practical solutions and patents. </li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>Preferred Experience and Skills</strong></p><p>We don’t expect a single candidate to tick every box straight away - at Cerego we place an emphasis on growth and learning.
