Knowesis is looking for personnel to support the United States Special Operations Command Preservation of the Force and Family (USSOCOM POTFF) program in identifying and implementing innovative, valuable solutions across the Special Operations Forces (SOF) enterprise aimed at improving the short and long-term well-being of SOF warriors and their families.

  • This position is contingent upon contract award.*

Operating in consultation with POTFF program staff and the Government's POTFF biostatistician, the Data Scientist will:

  • Enter, clean, and conduct basic data manipulation and analysis

  • Build and disseminate databases and spreadsheets designed to record POTFF related programmatic data

  • Provide consultation and assistance to supported units and POTFF staff to identify opportunities and methods for capturing data relating to POTFF programs and initiatives

  • Prepare reports and presentations that accurately convey data trends and associated analysis

  • Enter and analyze data within government systems

Experience and Skills

  • Possess an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

  • Bachelor's Degree in quantitative science, social science or related discipline

  • Proficient with the suite of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel and Access

  • Prior experience using statistical software application such as SPSS, SAS, and R

  • Possess excellent communication skills and shall be highly detail oriented and

VIEW JOBS 11/6/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-04T00:00 Job Description: Leidos is presently seeking an Information Assurance (IA) / Cybersecurity Engineer in support of the 4th Infantry Division at Fort Carson, CO, with the primary responsibility of supporting the implementation and administration of information security policies, procedures, and technologies to ensure the protection of systems, applications, and data on tactical and development networks. Individual will provide professional security services for IA/Cybersecurity in accordance with US Government (USG), Department of Defense (DoD), Department of the Army (DA), and US Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) policies and guidelines. Primary Responsibilities: * Provide the necessary support to monitor and ensure compliance with information security policies, procedures and regulatory requirements including assistance with internal auditing, reporting, technical reviews, and identification of security risks. * Provide technical assistance in support of Cybersecurity inspections and Site Assistance Visits (SAV). * Assist with drafting, reviewing, editing, and recommending guidance for Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Tactics, Techniques, & Procedures (TTP), Plan Of Action and Milestones (POA&M), Army Portfolio Management System (APMS), and Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA). * Support the migration of network accreditations from the legacy DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) to the Risk Management Framework (RMF) utilizing the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) system. Basic Qualifications: * Must meet DoD 8570.1-M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program, IA certification standards. * Active DoD Secret clearance. * Requires BS degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 years of prior relevant experience. Related experience may be considered in lieu of degree. * Requires an active DOD Security clearance Preferred Qualifications: * 5+ years of experience in IA/Cybersecurity. * Preference to candidates with security certificates such as CISSP, CISM, GSLC, or CASP. * Experience with Tactical Server Infrastructure (TSI) and Battle Command Common Services (BCCS). * Experience in performing risk assessment, IT audits, security planning, systems accreditation and policy development. * Experience complying with USG, DoD, and DA regulations and preparing for responding to information security audits and questionnaires. * Understanding of related information technology (e.g. firewalls, VPN, virtualization, DLP, etc) and physical security assets. * Knowledge of domain structures, user authentication, data encryption, access audits and end-user security best practices. * Experience with UNIX/LINUX OS and any scripting language. * Experience working with IDS/IPS and processes.
