This position is responsible for production of reports and analysis of Corporate Business Resources' (CBR) internal and external reports for both Travel & Operations and CBR reporting (including dashboards, ad hoc requests, and special projects).
This position will partner with the team Reporting & Analytics lead on understanding current systems (SQL Database, Alteryx and Tableau), as well as the various vendors feeding data into the CBR Database.
In this dynamic role, the individual will coordinate reporting and act as the liaison with the internal customers and SME's, as well as researching and applying new industry standards as applicable.
This role is to be a trusted partner with our customers (internal to CBR and external), and provide insightful data analytics and problem solving, delivering maximum value to the business, our policy owners and our customers.
This individual must be capable of understanding data and internal reporting applications (SQL Database, Alteryx and Tableau) proven ability to automate recurring report, ensure data quality (QC), provide analysis with actionable insights, and quickly react to ad hoc requests from Management.
Have advanced knowledge of SQL Database, Alteryx and Tableau to enhance current reporting, including proven ability of analysis and identification of actionable next steps
Clarifies report needs with requestors to understand the purpose and content of requested reports, utilizing systems to create routine reports to meet user needs, and audits and analyzes data to verify quality and data integrity (balancing, control totals, quality checking). Identifies and researches data anomalies.
Responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvements in reporting and development, while providing value to customers through insightful analytics and problem solving
Identifies data trends and performs data analysis. Present findings and make recommendations. Meets user deadlines for ad hoc reports and other requested information
Completes daily/monthly/quarterly reporting assignments on time and ensures accuracy
Prioritizes and manages multiple tasks to meet deadlines; and seeks guidance from manager as needed to clarify assignments or requests, ask questions, or seek additional information.
Serves as a resource to the department and division, and provides information and training as required.Qualifications
Associate's Degree in Finance, Computer Science or Mathematics (minimum)
4-7 years of proven reporting and analysis experience (provide examples)
Ability to work as a member of a fast-paced team
Demonstrated experience in timely creation of both standard and ad hoc reporting, data analysis and presentation of findings eps
Experience identifying a customer's need before they ask
Strong communication skills with ability to work with technology and business partners
Experience collaborating with a team of varying skill sets
Proficiency with Word, Excel and Power Point, with advanced skills in Excel (Pivot Tables, V-lookups, and Macros)
Desire to learn emerging technologies
Strong collaboration skills
