The Data Reporting Analyst will support strategic priorities by providing data-based, actionable feedback and reporting to our internal sales team focused on the customer. You will be responsible for creating, supporting and communicating unique reporting and analytical perspectives to the end user. Our ideal candidate is highly skilled in all aspects of data analytics, including mining, generation and visualization. What You Will Do:

  • Use your analytical skills to design/develop, program, maintain and publish reports

  • Build and maintain reoccurring Ops, QA and customer reporting in addition to ad-hoc data analysis in support of the corporate account managers.

  • Assess business needs against current data process and business intelligence opportunities

  • Meet with business partners and gather reporting requirements, offer recommendation and different options to meet their reporting needs

  • Brainstorm solutions with business partners, matching business need to current data process and business intelligence opportunities

  • Make solid recommendations based on the analysis and provide explanations for reporting results for both internal operations and our customers

  • Provide onboarding support and issue resolution for customer dashboards

  • Identifies, coordinates and aggregates data from a variety of sources

  • Collaborate with functional areas in the design and development of customer facing reports

  • Responsible for data testing and validation which requires a highly detail-oriented individual

  • You must be self-directed and creative as you will deal with challenging and complex requests

Position Details:

  • This position is in St. Paul, Minnesota

  • Work Schedule: full-time, standard business hours. Employee should be prepared to work in the office 4-5 days per week

Basic Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Management Information, Computer Science, or related field or years of related work experience.

  • 3 years of data reporting or analytics experience

  • 3 years working in a technical, analytical and problem-solving role

  • 3 years performing significant data analysis and report development

  • 3 years working with BI Tools

  • 3 years SQL/ SQL Service Management Studio

  • Demonstrated ability to learn new data mining or analytics tools like SQL, SSRS, R, Python, etc.

  • Proficiency in MS Office; Advance proficiency with Excel

  • Understanding of database architecture

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Initiative to start projects and drive outcomes with minimal direction

  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing including executive level presentations

  • Ability to anticipate change and transition with agility and flexibility while still meeting customer and corporate needs in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience supporting and implementing solutions for a large company or customer
