Support the Office of the Global CIO activities by consolidating, monitoring, and measuring all the ITM global initiative statuses, budget versus targets and actuals, Key Performance Indicators (financial and operational). Monitor all the operational cost center activities for the team, preparing global updates on partner management, global audit & risk, and following up on various action items and directives for global representatives and leadership team. Develop proposals and make presentations to the Global IT Performance Management lead and the Head of Office of Global CIO to be implemented globally by IT Executive Committee members and Senior Managers. Support all other daily activities under the Performance Management lead function pertaining to cost, performance, measurement and steering projects and proposals.
OPERATIONAL: Support operational and strategic activities for the global ITF organization by assisting the Performance Management Lead in various data analysis, consolidation of data to create global transparency, budget and actuals daily operational activities. Support the development and coordination of the annual budget, forecasts, and investment planning for the Office of the Global CIO. Create Purchase Requisitions and coordinate the Purchase orders and invoicing topics related to the Office of the Global CIO. Capture all the administrative topics related to the Office of the Global CIO- plan and actuals including invoices, Capital IOs, accruals, and other related topics in collaboration with FC function. Provide regular reporting showing the planned, actual and forecasted budget for the Office of the Global CIO in collaboration with FC. Provide details related to vendor spending. Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed to determine the overall cost drivers. (30%)
PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT and STEERING: Consolidation, tracking, and controlling of Global ITF KPIs (operational and Financial) and Global Strategic Initiatives. Preparation and provision of reports based on defined KPIs (financial and IT performance). Support proposals and ideas for new KPIs to be added to the overall global tracking model. Tracking and identification of cost drivers and cost reduction potentials as required. Coordinate and collaborate with all regional representatives from ITF and FC to gather the statuses for their assigned IT strategic initiatives and IT projects, consolidate the statuses, escalate all issues and risks in a timely manner to the Performance Management Lead. Monitor global initiatives against targets defined. Continue improvement of the current KPI dashboard and collaborate with regional representatives and CTO team to support development of BI tools and solutions to track KPIs. (30%)
PROJECT PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT: Coordinate various Project Portfolio reporting topics, tracking and monitoring the related KPIs as well as collecting input from other locations (regions and global teams) to answer questions related to the status of projects and DCVA calculation. Align with all the regional or area representatives as needed and escalate all issues and risks in a timely manner to the Global Performance Management lead. (20%)
MISCELLANEOUS: Collect and consolidate data related to ITF Audit topics in collaboration with Corporate Audit and Daimler IT Audit Portfolio. Collect and consolidate data related to ITF partner management and other related tasks. Maintain plans and time estimates, track progress to plans, communicate status, and escalate issues and risks on a timely basis to the Global Performance Management Lead. Development of presentation contents for CIO events such as Town halls, Leadership staff meetings, etc. when needed and present it to the global CIO team for review before usage. Build effective relationships and collaborate across regions and global teams. Stay productive in an ambiguous, changing work environment, creating structure, applying project management skills, and developing and meeting timelines. (20%)
This is a global role supporting a global function. Activities may be in any country in which DFS does business (principally the Americas).
This position requires a minimum of 2 years of overall work experience. Preferred experience includes:

Finance 2 Years' of experience
Information Technology 1 Years' of experience
Strategy 1 Years' of experience
Bachelor's Degree is required, MBA/MA is preferred. Recommended majors include:
Analytical Skills-Ability to Collect data and establish facts and identify trends and variances; Ability to Integrate information from a variety of sources with varied levels of complexity; Ability to Formulate and test hypotheses for the purpose of forecasting outcomes
