Job Title: Product Master Lead Steward
Department: Data Governance & Stewardship
Term: 9 Months minimum, potential for longer, starting ASAP
Location: New Brunswick, NJ
5 days a week at client site
Purpose of the Job
Serves as the Data Manager for the Product Master capability at a large pharma client. Under the guidance of the Product Master Leader, support the daily business activities to manage and maintain the Product Master through process development and enhancements, project management, communications and data stewardship support.

Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day support for a pharma clients Product Master Data and capability. Tasks include:

Develop, document and maintain data governance and stewardship processes for the Product Master

Support data quality improvement initiatives for Product Master data

Ensure client support requests/tickets are properly routed for resolution and resolved

Liaise with internal Stakeholders regarding Product Master open items

Communicate upcoming system changes to client stakeholders

Work with the Product Master development team to address and resolve system/field ambiguities

Provide support for system enhancements through coordination of business requirements across business functions (including exUS)

Liaise with Product Master data stewards in the UK

Monitor and remediate data quality issues

Perform data stewardship updates when required

Role Requirements:

Minimum of three to four (3-4) years of related work experience

Knowledge and experience with pharmaceutical commercial sales operations and MDM capabilities

Experience with Master Data Management operations, including Customer and Product Master domain

Demonstrated experience with Data Stewardship services

Demonstrated project leadership skills

SQL skills to query databases for Data Quality assessments and profiling

Intermediate to advanced skills in data manipulation using Excel

Demonstrated expert customer service skills

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Able to independently interact with teams across the organization

Solid verbal and written communication skills

Consulting or client engagement experience is preferred

Position Requirements: * Minimum of 5+ years in Pharmaceutical industry * Minimum of 5+ years of business operations experience and demonstrated experience in data stewardship – preferably customer master data. * Minimum of 3+ years of supervisory experience – managing teams across multiple countries. * Minimum 3+ years of project management experience managing large, complex customer oriented projects * Minimum of 3+ years of master data management experience * Strong command of business and information requirements for master data management * Demonstrated ability to understand and translate business needs into business system requirements, effectively transforming those requirements into solutions * Ability to translate complex concepts and strategy into meaningful communications * Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 203 and 21 CFR Part 11 as they relate to validation of systems that support regulated processes for the pharmaceutical industry a plus. * Knowledge of global privacy regulations and data protection requirements. * Ability to query and analyze large datasets (millions of records) * Interpersonal skills and experience in working with individuals from different cultures/countries * Excellent written and oral communication skills Bristol Myers Squibb New Brunswick NJ
