CAMRIS is seeking exceptional candidates for the Clinical Protocol Coordinator positions. S/he will support the mission of The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and The National Institutes of Health (NIH) by conducting and supporting basic, translational and clinical research to better understand, treat, and ultimately prevent infectious, immunologic, and allergic diseases at the Rocky Mountain Laboratories in Hamilton, Montana and on the main campus of NIH in Bethesda, MD.

  • This is a forecasted position and it is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

Duties Include:

  • Manage scientific data.

  • Collect and analyze data.

  • Research and analyze sources of data.

  • Prepare summaries of collected data and/or analysis of data.

  • Create and maintain databases, spreadsheets and reports.

  • Manage storage and data backup.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field. Four (4) years of specialized experience plus a High School diploma is equivalent to a Bachelor's degree.

Minimum Experience:

  • 4-5 years of experience in a related field.

This opportunity is a full-time position with MSC, and it is on-site in Hamilton, MT. Duties & Responsibilities * Budget: * Formulate annual and multi-year budget estimates * Participate in long-range financial planning * Support the Chief, facility manager, veterinary and pathology staff on projections and funding for new initiatives * Identify policies, constraints and available funds that affect the program objectives * Collect data and prepares budgetary information in response to requests from AO or the program. * Monitor operating fund expenditures * Manage special budget requests (CRADA's, etc.) * Provide monthly financial reports to the Chief. * Operations: * Manage and track hiring actions * Coordinate with the AO and HR to ensure compliance with federal hiring practices * Facilitate development of standards, procedural documents and SOPs * Coordinate with contract staff to ensure consensus operations * Prepare monthly situational report * Husbandry Operations * Manage animal procurement and shipment * Ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements related to animal procurement * Compile and reconcile monthly data for regulatory reports (USDA, AAALAC, IACUC, OLAW, etc.) * Track monthly inventory for critical supplies to include feed, chemicals and bedding/caging o Provide monthly report to the facility manager on inventory * Manage AMBIS purchases for clinical mission and histology mission * Maintain monthly inventory of clinical supplies and histology supplies and provides monthly report to facility manager and clinical leads and histology manager. * Manage yearly contracts for service on clinical and histology equipment #LI-AA1 Requirements * BS/BA in Business or a related field with 5 years' experience working directly in program management. * Experience with financial planning (formulating annual and multi-year budget estimates). * Extensive reporting experience (generating and reconciling*), highly preferred. * Experience creating standard operating procedures and coordinating compliance with staff members. * Familiarity with federal hiring practices, strongly desired.
