Position Description Summary:
Responsible for data management including customer master, rate maintenance, customer/supplier profiles, gateway schedules and branch/department data in the company operating systems.
Principal Accountabilities (The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. It is not an exhaustive list of all expectations.):
Known/Unknown (KSMS) Update Process from the field
o Daily requests to change customer status
o KSMS has a mass update that occurs quarterly
o Testing and set up of new account
o Procars Temporary Accounts -
Review and confirm automatically created accounts
Create new accounts if the op user has not done it
Billable account requirements
CMP Form received
POA or W-9
Key account or Do Not Add
Request approval to add
Confirm sent to Argus, Procars, Oracle and SAP
Unique customer set up processes (10 different types)
o Additional updates performed
Build bill-to accounts
Credit Parent notification
Accounting clerk updates
Invoice printing updates (Argus & Procars)
Accounting Clerk creations
Argus System Security
Special handling codes
Statement billing (Oracle)
Data entry and maintenance of buy and sell rates for internal and external customers including accessorial fees
Update TANGO with additional required information for processing shipments for customers. This includes:
o Power of Attorney
o ISF authorization
o Modes of business handled
o Customs Broker information
o Additional reference number requirements
o Additional event requirements
o Preferred carrier information
o Volume factor
o Project ID
Branch / Department Maintenance:
Update changes to branches/departments in webathos and/TANGO as needed
Update and maintain LCL/Consolidation schedules in TANGO
