As a Data & Analytics professional at Magenic, you'll use the latest versions of relational and non-relational platforms to build massive scale enterprise systems. The Requirements

  • 4+ years of Microsoft Database Development / Business Intelligence experience

  • 8+ years development experience on full-life cycle projects

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team

  • Demonstrable skills in data modeling, database design, and system architecture with a focus on building secure applications at enterprise scale

  • Substantial experience with RDMS development, testing and deployment, with a particular focus on SQL Server 2008 R2 - 2016

  • Expertise with T-SQL and familiarity with SQL variants

  • Substantial experience with Analysis Services development, testing and deployment, with a particular focus on SQL Server Analysis Services (Tabular) and DAX

  • Substantial experience with front-end reporting and dashboard development tools, e.g. SSRS, Cognos, Business Objects, MicroStrategy, or other

  • Working knowledge and/or experience with Power BI (Power BI Online, Power BI Desktop) and related tools

  • Working knowledge and/or understanding of Azure-based tools and services that support data storage, e.g. Azure SQL, Blob and Table Storage

  • A strong curiosity about our clients business needs coupled with a passion to stay on the cutting edge of data and analytics tools and techniques

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a high-level of comfort explaining complex technical topics to business clients

Nice to Have

  • Experience designing Data Warehouse architecture on the Azure cloud platform

  • Expertise designing and deploying Data Lake solutions

  • Architecture of SSAS Cube Reporting Solutions

  • Able to influence senior management, peers and staff through an inclusive style and recognition of their abilities to achieve results

  • Demonstrated track record of successful ability to manage large and complex consulting engagements, including a role in managing and interfacing with senior level client executives

  • Management consulting, advisory, professional services and/or Big 4 consulting experience

  • Experience with other non-Microsoft data visualization tools, e.g. Tableau, QlikView, Spotfire or other

  • Working knowledge and/or understanding of Azure-based tools and services that support analysis, mining and reporting, e.g. Analysis Services (PaaS), Azure SQL Data Warehouse, HDInsight, Data Lake Analytics, Stream Analytics, Cognitive Services, etc.

  • Working knowledge of data services offerings on other Cloud platforms, e.g. Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, etc.

Manage Physical Security, health and safety operations activities in the Americas with overall responsibility for services, solutions and costs. Reports directly to WW Security & Safety Director and co-managed by Americas VP of HR. With Global Safety and Security set the strategy for the Americas: * Monitor performance and strategy implementation. * Develop and manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external industry colleagues. * Overall responsibility for security and safety planning and costs for the Americas. Key Tasks: * Applies and executes corporate strategy for security and safety for all Americas offices, employees, and visitors. * Ability to deal with rapid changes in order to align regional offices and acquisitions with business needs and the Global Security strategy and services. * Monitors customer satisfaction and initiates improvement actions accordingly. * Manages creation of operational plans including resourcing and financial plans. Manage capital and operating expense budget for security and safety for the Americas. Determine, coordinate and execute security requirements for capital projects identified within the facilities plan and budget. * Ensures implementation and use of Security and Safety solutions and processes in a consistent way in co-operation with other Corporate Functions, including efficient communication and change management. * Liaises with regional leadership, industry-wide joint groups, security and law enforcement agencies as well as governments officials and customers. * Develop safety and security awareness campaigns. Participate in providing security-related risk assessments. * Develop and coordinate security plans for travel to high and extreme risk countries. Facilitate travel security program for travel to lesser risk countries. * Respond to, manage, and investigate security incidents in the Americas. Complete incident forms and obtain accurate information related to incidents. * Manage reception program for the Americas coordinating with local HR, Site leaders and Sr RE mgr's. as needed. * Develop and document Security/Facilities protocols for crisis management, office closures and emergencies. Support Business Recovery plans. * Manage and oversee safety programs to ensure a safe workplace environment. Provide guidance to all Americas sites on conducting fire drills. * Implement first aid and AED training to major sites. Your Challenges Ahead * Efficiently manage daily operations of Security & Safety Operations within the Americas. * Support Corporate Real Estate and Facilities projects in the Americas where physical security infrastructure is required. Manage physical security installation of equipment during new office build outs and renovations, relocations, restacks, etc. * Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on security policies, standards and procedures. * Primary liaison with local, state, federal, Canadian and LATAM agencies. * Support physical security audits when required. * Manage the daily operations of the vendors providing contract security services and technical security systems integration. * Conduct investigations of Code of Conduct and other violations as needed. * Develop security plans for on-site special events and other unique security situations to assure proper access control and evacuation procedures are followed. * Perform data analysis and create benchmarking to support risk assessments and threat identification. * Primary liaison for the Geo Group Crisis Management Team. * Adapt / adopt global policy and strategy in local operations. * Maintain synergies between EMEAR and AP counterparts. Your Key Success Factors * Bachelor's Degree Required. * Significant corporate security, preferably with law-enforcement experience or military background (10+ years). * Experience in handling internal safety and security problems including, but not limited to, criminal or disorderly conduct, investigations, dissatisfied clients and/or guests, workplace accidents and threats, fire and other emergencies. * Considerable knowledge of laws and practices of investigations and workplace safety. * Considerable knowledge of current security technology including access control, CCTV, identification and special applications. * Must exhibit excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail. * Demonstrated experience in formulating, implementing and critically reviewing security plans * Experience conducting physical security assessments. * Demonstrated success in managing multiple, simultaneous projects * Experience working in a multi-national corporate security environment. Professional Competencies Needed: Crisis Management, Managing Projects, Vendor management, Premises Security, Risk Management, Security Auditing Additional Expectations: * Travel within North and Latin America estimated at 10 – 20%.
