Data & Intelligence Product Manager
The Creation Platform is at the core of Amadeus Travel Unit growth strategy, by powering the next generation travel ecosystem: it connects partners, suppliers, customers, and travelers, with solutions, capabilities, intelligence and content ; these will combine to power the traveler centric journeys of tomorrow.
The Creation Platform mission is to enable innovation to accelerate, expand business value and increase process efficiency, by sharing capabilities transversally across Amadeus business versus purely 'vertical ' product line approach.
We are looking for talented Product Manager able to manage complexity of the ecosystem, navigate through multiple stakeholders, with deep interest in data & platform capabilities, and enthusiastic about the Amadeus growth strategy of opening up our systems.
In a move towards Amadeus Opennes strategies and enabling data driven decision to our customers, you would be looking after managing key analytics solutions for amadeus customers providing ready to use data, for analytics and ML/AI use cases. You would enable our customer with better time to market and TCO to drive their business based on decision making and data exploration analysis, and enabler their ML/AI use cases.
In close cooperation with our customers, partners, sponsors, Airlines Solutioins Product teams and R&D teams, as "Analytics and Intelligence Product Manager" you will be responsible for defining and supporting the building of desirable, feasible, viable and sustainable data and analytics products that meet customer needs over the product-market lyfecycle. Contributing to desing and deliver the most relevant ready to use airline data domains, breaking silos of data, creating the single source of truth for Amadeus customers, providing them with the most reliable and trustable airline data.
For the corresponding product, the "Data & Intelligence Product Manager" will lead the associated:
Product strategy and customer roadmaps
Product research and requirements definition (at Epic and Feature level) - after consolidation and articulation of business needs
Product oversight of product development (12m view)
Product pilot planning and coordination with the support of the Product Marketing (PMK)/Product Line Management function and Implementation teams
Post-launch oversight and optimization
Product end-of-life with the support of the PMK/ Product Line Management function
Main accountabilities
Understand, identify and define customer needs
Consolidate and articulate business needs into new product concepts or upgrades, and translate it into Epics and features, developing corresponding Lean Business Case.
As cross functional managers, PMs need to be able to see how and where systems and processes that affect product success can be improved. The flow from concept to development to delivery should be as frictionless as possible. Product Management plays a key role in making this happen.
Lead and own, product vision strategy and roadmap
Define and continuously develop the product vision & the business value in line with the business owners, PMs, Product Owners & agile teams
Communicate and evangelize Amadeus teams on product vision and roadmap, share product knowledge and ensure mutual understanding of the business
Understand competition and environment the exposition of content into Amadeus Creation Platform Content Hub and educating on how to effectively enrich Amadeus Content Hub
Lead the product features definition (scoping) and prioritization
Participate to Program Increment (PI) & its Planning Event (PIPE)
Product Launch communication & support
Provide key information & communicate value on the product, to define the Value proposition
Contribute to the pilot plans (when applicable) with Product Marketing and other associated teams & BUs.
Support the commercial, operational and marketing teams in the go-to-market and adoption phases
Share content for product documentation, sales tools and collateral.
Create standard and tailor-made presentations, and demo scripts showing product value.
Give presentations, demos and familiarization sessions to customers and customer-facing teams (for them to perform them). Once the product has been piloted, standard presentations should be performed by customer-facing teams
Participate to the preparation of key events, guaranteeing the success of product launch and follow up.
Contribute to RFP/RFI for the product
About our ideal candidate
5+ years of experience on Data and Analytics area for Airlines industry
5+ years of experience in Data Product Management / Product Owner role
University degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Finance and/or Business Administration (Post degree is a plus)
Solid understanding of big data technical landscape
Entrepreneur behavior is required to deliver in a context of high level uncertainty due to federated product management
Office, advanced in Excell, SQL.
Excellent communication skills in english, customer empathy, lateral thinking, influencing skills
What will be considered a plus:
Hands-on: Power BI, Qlik
Understanding of Data Management (DAMA) concepts
Project management experience, leading by influencing.
Experience as Data scientist, Data engineer, ML, GenAI
Previous ART PM, PM or PO role under SAFe methodologies
