GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: FLSA: Hourly
Supports District schools and principals in their effort to foster an optimal educational environment for students. Maintains data integrity in the Cave Creek Unified School District's student information system database and related applications. Performs student information data clean-up, edits and corrections, etc. Assists the District Database Engineer for SIS reporting and provides support to school registrars and other district staff as needed.
Provides assistance to the District Database Engineer for SIS reporting and is cross-trained to act as the backup to the SIS Systems Analyst.
Maintains current knowledge of SIS and student information system technology in general.
Maintains current knowledge of the On-Line Registration System, and procedures.
Troubleshoots problems with SIS data, correcting errors or omissions as needed, thus ensuring data integrity.
Acts as a liaison between the district technology staff and schools, escalating unresolved data issues to the SIS Database Engineer.
Assists parents with annual registration process.
Assists registars and other school staff with basic data analysis.
Creates and deploys communications focused on correcting SIS data and how errors may be impacting related applications.
Prepares and delivers training to parents and staff focused on the data needs of related applications, ie: Campus Messenger, InTouch Receipting, eTrition, SchoolMessenger
Keeps informed of changes or developments in technology by participating in technology department meetings professional growth opportunities.
Provides other district technology support functions as necessary and performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Information Management & Technology.
A high school graduate or equivalent. Additional schooling in a technology trade or three (3) years experience with a SIS preferred.
Possess or able to obtain Infinite Campus certification.
Experience utilizing student information systems. Infinite Campus experience preferred.
Ability to troubleshoot, problem solve, and provide student information system support and user training.
General knowledge of databases, software applications, and Internet use.
