What you'll learn & achieve:

This exciting role as a Data Integration Specialist, will work as part of a team to support and configure our software for the customer. This role will focus on the more technical elements of the Implementation which will require working knowledge of SQL and problem-solving abilities.

  • Serve as Configuration Specialist on complex implementation projects involving installs and upgrades

  • Serve in a technical role to other team members internally for both technical and professional services projects purchased by clients

  • Provide support to existing clients including report generation at critical times of the year

  • Advise and assist the client in maintaining and enhancing their application

  • Author Functional Specification documents based on client requirements

  • Troubleshoot the system as per the defined requirements using the system user interface

  • Liaison with Product Management for advanced configuration and development of the system

  • To build and maintain custom SQL build scripts

  • Work with technical teams to resolve system and configuration issues.

  • Attend customer meetings and calls as and when required as part of support, ensuring a professional image at all time

  • Provide support to clients on existing functionality and internal team

  • Draft training documentation both generically for the system and for client-specific purposes

  • Minimum commercial experience of 2 years. Experience in software implementation and / or support required.

  • Experience in the field of LMS or EMR/EHR Software is preferred.

  • Effective communicator with good interpersonal skills as this is a customer-facing role

  • Knowledge of relational databases or technical experience is highly desirable (in particular SQL & XML)

  • Previous experience in a customer facing role within a private sector company environment required

  • UL has COVID-19 protocols and policies in place. Business related travel on behalf of UL requires proof of COVID-19 vaccination

The Product Data Specialist serves as the first-line point of contact for business partner item data change requests. He or she will be a subject matter expert on healthcare product terminology and coding, and effectively organizing product data for supply chain and clinical systems. Core Competencies & Attributes * Knowledge of the product line categorizations regarding materials, supplies, and equipment utilized in a health care environment * Knowledge of HCPCS level 2 coding, and impact to Medicaid revenue codes and functional patient charging * Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills (passion for data and accuracy) * Understands the impact of data management processes on the Procure-to-Pay process, ability to relate specific data element changes to the business function potentially impacted * Can effectively assess situations, consider alternatives, and choose the appropriate course of action based on established processes and business needs * Extremely detail-oriented, with good organizational skills to record and recall relevant data and processes * Capable of balancing multiple tasks and project timelines in a time sensitive atmosphere * Ability to manage stressful situations and interpersonal communications by awareness and management of one's own needs and emotions, as well as the needs and emotions of others * Able to articulate and support departmental goals, and how they impact the organization's mission, vision, and values * Manifest ability to initiate problem-solving, taking initiative to create new ideas and innovate collaboratively with colleagues and superiors * Demonstrated willingness to perform additional duties when requested * Follow all CHS master data management processes, controls, and policies * Review and update item class and description assignments in the global Lawson item master * Review documentation for healthcare product manufacturers to identify HCPCS codes for supplies * Execute logical search criteria on various internal and external data resources to validate true item record data elements for large data sets, and determine actionable data changes * Execute simple and complex reports for data quality analysis and control * Maintain a consistent taxonomy for Lawson IC and PO master data * Maintain a high quality of written and verbal communication with internal and external customers, to include senior department and hospital leadership, regarding item master file maintenance questions and requests, resulting in positively perceived service * Effectively and professionally interfaces with challenging customers, providing service recovery assistance wherever possible, and escalates to supervision appropriately * Contribute new ideas, analyzing risks and projected performance improvements, executing useful process improvements for change management * Demonstrate work efficiency through KPIs and other established metrics for performance Community Health System Franklin TN
