POSITION DETAILS The Fullerton School District is seeking a qualified individual for a full-time position in our Innovation and Instructional Support division. The Data Integration Specialist, under general supervision and utilizing considerable journey level skills, provides high-level data integration between multiple district data systems, and creates/scripts/maintains a database system application for inventory, support tickets, and user accounts in order to meet the instructional and operational needs of the district.

This position will also spearhead the district's adoption of data dashboards based on integration of multiple data streams. This career opportunity is an 8 hour/day, 12 month/year position with a work schedule anticipated to be 8:00am-4:30pm and includes paid holidays, sick leave, vacation and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision and life insurance. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Education:

Graduation from a college or university with a B.A. Degree is preferred. Experience: Three (3) or more years of increasingly responsible experience with database systems integration, scripting database applications or integrations, or information systems including data integrations and full life-cycle data reporting scripting.

Experience should include customer service, gathering information and qualifications for integrations, vendor communications, and delivery and maintenance of data integrations. Licenses/Other: Possession of a valid Class C California Driver's License. For more information, please review the Job Description provided.

RECRUITMENT PROCEDURES This is a merged promotional and open competitive recruitment. The recruitment process may consist of a training and experience (supplemental responses) evaluation, performance test, and/or structured oral interview.

To qualify to be placed on an eligibility list, a candidate must obtain a passing score on each part of the examination process. Final scores will be obtained by combining the relative weights of scores on each part of the examination. If Veteran's credit is claimed, proof of status (DD214) must be submitted to the Classified Personnel Commission Office at the same time the application form is submitted or prior to testing.

The life of the eligibility list will be twelve (12) months. The resulting eligibility list will be used to fill future vacancies.

Date of Interviews The dates of the interviews will be announced at a later date. Candidates who are among the most qualified will be notified by email or telephone of the time, date and place of the interviews.
