The Data Integration Engineer is a key role supporting all teams at Editas. You will be responsible for improving and normalizing data from SaaS business and IT systems, designing and building data flows between systems, creating and managing a data warehouse, and ensuring their robustness increases over time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain data transformation and integrations between SaaS business and IT systems
  • Make recommendations on how to improve data flows between systems
  • Create and manage a data warehouse
  • Ensure security and compliance of data transmission (HIPAA, GDPR, privacy, etc)
  • Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
  • Author and update documentation for procedures and artifact collection
  • Liaise with systems owners, vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven working experience as a Data Integration analyst / specialist /engineer
  • 5+ years of professional information technology experience
  • BS in Computer Science, MIS or similar field

Preferred Capabilities

  • Ability to work in GxP compliant environment
  • Knowledge of ETL design patterns
  • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud or similar
  • Familiarity with Oracle SQL
