FCA is seeking a passionate, innovative, results oriented Information Communication Technology (ICT) Product Development Data Analytics Specialist to join the Vehicle and Powertrain Engineering - Product Development IT Data Analytics team. As a Data Analytics Specialist, the selected candidate will leverage business analysis and data analytics skills to guide the business partners in the development of insightful analytic solutions.

Job responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Lead business partners on developing data analytics applications using Qlik Sense or related self-service tools; understanding data requirements, data layouts, data analysis, and visualization of information

  • Establish a strong relationship with the central BI/data engineering COE to ensure alignment in terms of leveraging corporate standard technologies, processes, and reusable data models and contribute to, create, and maintain enterprise wide standards, processes, and data systems as necessary

  • Collaborate with vehicle and powertrain engineering to develop robust requirements on data, analytics, data quality and reporting

  • Collaborate with the central data engineering team on technical solutions for data acquisition and ingestion into corporate data lake or other data storage

  • Take action to avoid or remove redundancy and inconsistencies from a business and ICT perspective

  • End to end development of data pipelines and analytics applications (Qlik Sense/Palantir), including data mapping, data transformation, and visualization configuration

  • Recommend enhancements to record systems and data acquisition processes

  • Support fellow ICT PD business process specialists and business partners in the creation of data analytics use cases

  • Support cross-functional Industrial focused analytics projects and use-cases

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the area of business intelligence or data analytics: concepts, approach, data lakes, data extraction, data transformation, data exploration and visualization

  • Self-starter with the desire and ability to quickly learn new technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with business intelligence tools, for both guided and self-discovery analytics, such as QlikView/Qlik Sense, Tableau, Power BI, Palantir

  • Experience in analyzing data from several sources, extracting relevant information and preparing insightful tools that support making data based business decisions

  • Experience with multiple data formats and database types (CSV/TSV/JSON, Greenplum, HBase/Phoenix, DB2, Oracle)

  • Strong working knowledge of statistical principles (correlations, distributions, regressions, variance)

  • Ability to successfully work within a cross functional team

  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and build relationships at all levels

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Ability to coach and guide business partners and other team members

  • Experience in industrial automotive space (product development, manufacturing, supply chain, quality)

Position Summary: The Digital eCommerce Strategy and Data Manager is a key role in the Mopar Digital Marketing team ensuring quality digital assets and information are made available to multiple end users and support development of numerous Dealer eCommerce solutions. As a member of the Mopar Digital Marketing team, the Digital eCommerce Strategy and Data Manager is the lead for adding and enhancing accessory and part information for internal use and eCommerce initiatives. As the leader for part and accessory data and eCommerce actions, the Digital eCommerce Strategy and Data Manager is instrumental in developing processes to secure Mopar parts and accessory data for various users and systems to access it. Working with FCA IT, Product Line Managers, and a dedicated CGI team to fully develop the images and other marketing requirements is required to meet critical objectives while simultaneously setting new targets for upcoming deadlines. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, detail oriented, team oriented, able to multi-task several projects and initiatives at the same time and thrives in a fast-pace environment. Basic technical knowledge of vehicle parts and accessories is crucial to supervise accurate information is shared with customers. Essential Functions: Digital Assets Management: 1. Identify and/or prioritize Digital Asset needs (Images, ACES, Marketing Why Buys) annually a. Provide Marketing support to FCA IT on the PIM (MDS) system assuring successful data storage and transfer to end users. Develop new initiatives to enhance the overall accuracy and usefulness of the data 2. Develop work plan to fulfill the Asset needs; manage offshore resources and internal cross-functional teams to deliver assets on-time and in-full a. Coordinate specific image-creation groups to assure every part and accessory has proper coverage and ultimately relays crucial visual information to the customer. This may differ depending on specific eCommerce provider requirements b. Manage a group of offshore CGI and Photoshop specialists. Convey priorities to the team and review completion rates weekly c. When requested, support the product teams with specific image or video files for special events. Assure that duplication of images is avoided by communicating with other image producers 3. Monitor and ensure timely upload of Digital Assets into PIM/MDS 4. Monitor and ensure timely submission of accurate images, ACES and marketing descriptions / "Why Buys" by Suppliers 5. Maintain a log or record of available Assets and provide updates as required to stakeholders - Dealers and MOPAR business teams 6. Ensure accurate Digital Assets are delivered to all eCommerce channels - Amazon, MOPAR eStore, 3rd Party and Dealer sites a. Support Mopar Amazon and Ebay data and image enhancements. Coordinate with FCA IT to develop an MDS download to platform specifications. Increase the MDS fields to comply with the Amazon and Ebay requirements. Track missing or incorrect data reported (through direct or dealer listings) and implement corrective action when necessary. 7. Support/Lead process improvement initiatives aimed at driving more effective and efficient Digital Assets development for MOPAR. eCommerce Operations Management 1. Drive overall Mopar and Amazon eCommerce sales via improvements in Site Usage experience, Digital Content and Dealer Aftersales Customer Service a. Assure eCommerce solutions meet state and federal requirements, working with the OGC and compliance groups to understand requirements. Develop plans for each eCommerce platform and track implementation to meet government objectives. 2. Coordinate Mopar accessories addition to FCA branded Build and Price tools. Develop proposals for management consideration and approval. 3. Provide Insights via Sales Reporting Analytics to support sales growth objectives of Dealers and Promotional activities of MOPAR a. Provide monthly eCommerce report to Senior Management, building a portion of a larger deck that summarizes the sales specific to the type of eCommerce platform. Coordinate multiple raw data feeds from various partners including outbound dealer sales and analytics. Training, Education, and Experience: * BA/BS degree in marketing, engineering, computer science or related field * Strong experience as an effective leader that empowers colleagues to generate new ideas, make decisions, operate independently and grow professionally * Previous data management a plus with a focus on an exceptionably large portfolio platform * Experience in developing and maintaining eCommerce sites * Amazon Vendor Central management experience preferred * PIM (MDS) usage and knowledge a plus Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Keen attention-to-detail * A driven personality with a strong sense of urgency, work ethic and motivation to grow the business and mentor a team to grow professionally. * Strong analytical skills * Strong Project Management skills with exceptional multi-tasking ability to coordinate various team member projects and set and track progress towards a common goal * Results-oriented * Digital Marketing experience - SEO, Content Marketing * Advanced Excel and Database Management (eg.
