Data Governance Project & Strategic Planning Manager | Hybrid

What you do:

We are seeking a Data Governance Projects & Strategic Planning Manager to join our team and lead the data literacy and data & AI communication efforts for the Data & Analytics Center of Excellence, and to partner on these efforts for the broader organization. This role will be responsible for developing and executing on a communication plan to ensure the department is aligned on data & AI efforts, and the organization is aware of learning opportunities related to data & AI. Additionally this role will be responsible for reporting to Allianz SE on our data & AI efforts, and managing special projects within the Data & Analytics Center of Excellence. The ideal candidate will have excellent project management, organization and communication skills, and experience leading strategic projects.

A successful candidate will have background in:

• Program Management & Project Leadership

• Leads multiple projects that are diverse in objective and scope on behalf of the team. Projects are often complex, cross several business areas and stakeholders, and need to be managed and prioritized with other initiatives. Responsible for efficient and high-quality execution from inception to completion.

• Strategic Planning

• Assists leadership in strategic planning with a focus on business needs, budget allocation, resource optimization/capacity, and prioritization relative to value. Serves as a resource to management, recommending solutions and facilitating decision-making that support the strategic direction of the team.

• Reporting & Communications

• Prepares regular reporting on program development, project status, key milestones and results/learnings. Helps manage a comprehensive communication plan to facilitate awareness and alignment among both internal and external stakeholders and business partners.

• Team efficiency and process improvements

• Consistently identifies ways to optimize workflow and efficiencies, maximizing the team's effectiveness. Works creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence. Continues professional development to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods and best practices.

What you bring:

• 6+ years' experience required in Financial Services or related field

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienced required
