This rolerequires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

  • Expertise in application, data and infrastructurearchitecture disciplines

  • 10+ years' experience in Relational Database Technologiesincluding but not limited to Db2/Oracle/Sybase/MSSQL

  • Experience with large databases including GreenPlum/Sybase IQ/Terradata/Neteeza aplus

  • Experience/Familiarity with Big Data Technologiesincluding but not limited to Hadoop/Cassandra a big plus

  • Advanced knowledge of architecture, design andbusiness processes

  • Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningfulrelationships to achieve common goals

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a major servicesorganization, with large-scale data or project management and oversightexperience.

  • Knowledge of data event architecture andfamiliarity with Kafka a plus

  • Knowledge quality and data protection managementpractices

  • Knowledge of data governance practices, business andtechnology issues related to management of enterprise information assetsand approaches related to data protection

  • Knowledge of data related regulatory requirements andemerging trends and issues

  • Demonstrated consulting skills, with change managementconcepts and strategies, including communication, culture change andperformance measurement system design

  • Knowledge of risk data architecture and technologysolutions

As a member of the Data Governance and Operational Risk Management IA team, the individual will help to further develop and implement a comprehensive program of audit coverage around Data Governance in NAM.
