We are seeking to expand our team in Louisiana to help a government client modernize crucial services and programs for the benefit of Louisiana citizens using the Pega Government Platform. These positions offer the stability of a multi-year project, with the flexibility to grow your expertise and career.
Work as a member of dynamic team in downtown Baton Rouge with other technical and business professionals to help a client achieve one of its most important strategic initiatives using the latest scrum-team based Agile approach.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
The Data Exchange Developer will work as a team member to develop data exchanges in a structured format for the Louisiana Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS) project. The candidate should possess and apply a combination of strong analytical skills, attention to detail, communication skills, and technical knowledge and provide technical support services in a consulting / outsourcing environment. Data Exchange Developers will work with subject matter experts in a team environment to define data requirements.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience working in an IT multi-platform environment using a variety of software tools, programming languages and databases
Working knowledge of Oracle, SQL, HTML, XML
Must be able to pass an extensive background check to obtain a Public Trust Clearance, or have existing federal network access clearance
Prior knowledge of automated human services information systems (like SACWIS, MMIS or OCSE systems) is highly desirable
An understanding of cyber security from an administrative perspective is desirable
Experience in metadata management (data dictionary, metadata repository)
Data model design
Experience in XML development
Experience in developing workflow models and processes
Experience in developing data standards
Experience with and understanding of relational databases.
An understanding of information technology concepts Enterprise Architecture, Information Architecture, database models
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel.
Two (2) years of experience in developing and implementing software in Agile environments.
