AlleReach Pharmacy is a closed-door, category (2) two sterile compounding pharmacy located in Dallas, Texas, and licensed in 47 states. Our focus is providing quality allergy immunotherapy treatment sets to our patients.
Job Summary
Data Entry Technicians perform prescription data entry, manage confidential patient information, communicate with doctors and medical teams, and perform other pharmacy related duties under the direct supervision of the staff pharmacist. The role is full-time.
Job Activities and Responsibilities
Receives prescriptions and verifies the accuracy and completeness of patient information.
Performs data entry and processing of new and refill prescription orders in a timely and accurate manner
Manages communications regarding order clarifications and patient prescriptions.
Builds formula logs from prescription orders in pharmacy's compounding software (will train).
Performs basic pharmaceutical calculations.
Prints product labels, inserts and clinic labels needed for each prescription.
Creates patient baskets and prepares the final product for shipping.
Assists with the stocking, and management of the pharmacy's inventory.
Monitors inventory levels for low and expired supplies, communicates inventory needs and assists with biannual inventory counts.
Assists with organizing, stocking, and appearance of the pharmacy area.
Assists with monthly deep cleans of the compounding areas and equipment (will train).
Adheres to AlleReach SOPs, Federal laws, and TSBP rules and regulations.
Performs other pharmacy-related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent.
Current Texas Pharmacy Technician license.
Proficient computer skills using a variety of software

Physical and Individual Abilities

Ability to consistently use manual dexterity to type and perform basic office tasks, which require physical abilities as well as are required to perform basic cleaning and sanitation tasks in pharmacy areas.
Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time to perform the role.
Ability to lift and move up to twenty pounds on a consistent basis.
Ability to work in a safety sensitive and high compliance environment, which involves utilization of cleaning products and requirements for rigorous safety and compliance procedures.
Work Schedule & Location
Ability to work a consistent schedule Monday to Friday and be available for overtime on weekends from time-to-time.
Ability to work onsite and in a closed-door pharmacy environment.
