We are currently helping a client, an insurance provider in Olympia, in a search forData Entry Supporton seasonal basis.
Duration - 4 to 5 month temp contract (September through December/January)
Location - Olympia, WA - LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY

We are seeking qualified Data Entry Personnel to assist during the busy season at a local insurance agency. If you have proven administrative / data entry skills, are detail-oriented, and enjoy a fast-paced & collaborative environment, we'd love to talk to you! Must have full-time availability through December 2018.
General Responsibilities:
  • General data entry
  • Updating and maintaining accurate Account information in CRM data base
  • Compiling and delivering digital files
Qualifications and

  • Prior data entry/processing/administrative role expereince
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Accuracy is a paramount requirement
  • Reliable transportation to/from work in North Seattle
  • Full time availability through December 2018
Preferred skills:
  • PDF experience and proficiency
  • Experience with digital documentation (DocuSign)
  • Experience with Microsoft CRM system(s)

In this role, your responsibilities includes resolving specific issues to expedite special wage claims and ensures accurate payment to claimants in a timely and efficient manner during periods of unemployment. Services provided support agency strategic objective goals by providing analysis and enterprise wide insight into operational efficiency and effectiveness for the unemployment insurance tax program areas including fraud prevention and audit tax reporting compliance for a fair and equitable taxing system. Additionally you will conduct financial audit reviews and resolve complex wage and hour issues on out-of-state claims, federal claims, and educate employers and internal customers, and provide technical assistance to meet regulatory requirements. Some of your primary duties include but are not limited to: * Review financial documents that have been received from either the employer or the claimant. * Apply applicable RCW and/or WAC's to determine if the alleged wages are reportable for tax and wage purposes. * In conjunction with RX responsibilities, work with other units and employers as required to determine correct and proper reporting of tax and wage information. * Submit tax/wage request to add missing out-of-state wages through ICON to support claim determinations. * Communicate with internal and external customers such as L&I and other governmental/non-governmental entities, claimants, employers and employer representatives. * Explain, interpret and apply complex State and Federal Laws, policies, rules and regulations to employers and claimants. * Verify earnings of UI Blocked Benefit Claims. Determine validity of 'Affidavit of Earning' statement and recommend approval or denial of request. * Submit tax/wage adjustments to correct reporting errors to support claim determinations for Hours Only, Correct/Verify Wages, SWAB Wages, Missing Wages and Pseudo Employer Wages. * Use skip-tracing techniques to locate employers or claimants. Qualifications Required qualifications: A Bachelor's degree which includes a minimum of 12 semester or 18 quarter hours of college-level accounting AND two years of experience with the review of payroll records to include W2's, W3's, 1099's, payroll summary, or professional accounting or auditing experience. Additional professional-level accounting or auditing experience will be substituted, year for year, for education except for the 12 semesters or 18 quarter hours of college-level accounting. OR One year as a Tax Specialist 2 - ES (which includes a minimum of 12 semester or 18 quarter hours of college-level accounting). In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will have knowledge of financial and accounting principles and practices; the analysis and reporting of financial data including GAAP and GAAS (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards). OR a combination of education and/or relevant experience, which includes a minimum of 12 semester or 18 quarter hours of college-level accounting.
