Description:
The University of Pikeville (UPIKE) is actively seeking a part-time, temporary, data entry specialist for the Office of Advancement and Alumni Relations with a work schedule not to exceed 30 hours and/or four days per week. This position will provide direct support for the Office of Advancement and Alumni Relations. The Data Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately inputting various data into information systems and databases. This is a temporary summer position for a current UPIKE student.
Responsibilities:
Enter data from paper records and sources into data management software and systems.
Maintain data integrity by accurately updating donor records in data management software using established procedures.
Provide high-quality administrative and logistical support for the Office of Advancement & Alumni Relations.
Qualifications:
Current UPIKE student in good academic standing
Excellent typing and computer skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to remain focused
Good organizational abilities
Familiarity with basic office software like Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive data
Problem-solving skills to resolve data discrepancies
