Job Description:

Coram/CVS Health is looking for a detail-oriented customer service professional to join our Rancho Cordova team as a Data Entry Specialist! This rewarding opportunity allows you to maintain quality assurance of new referrals while entering patient profiles into Coram's nationwide database. We believe that Data Entry Specialists are a key part of creating a positive experience for our patients receiving in-home infusion therapy. Qualified candidates will have advanced computer and data entry skills as well as the ability to multi-task while navigating through various computer systems.

As a Data Entry Specialist, you will

  • Work with the branch Admissions team to gather documentation for new patient processing.

  • Respond to electronic referrals by creating Patient Intake Form within a short deadline

  • Verify information on incoming documents for accuracy and completeness.

  • Determine which insurance providers are accepted through Coram and if we can accept a referral.

  • Scan and upload documents from insurance providers into electronic records system and notify appropriate departments.

This is a full-time, permanent, benefited position and is NOT through an agency. Typical work hours for this role are Monday Friday, between 6:00AM 6:00PM, with an opportunity for over-time per business need.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum year experience working in a customer service or call center environment.

  • Data entry experience.

  • Experience working in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook and Word.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Home infusion or durable medical equipment (DME) experience.

  • Experience work in a healthcare environment.

  • Experience working with healthcare insurance verification or obtaining medical authorizations.

Education

Verifiable High School Diploma or GED is required.

Candidate should have strong oral and written communications skills. A candidate knowledgeable in Microstation and/or AutoCAD is a plus. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: * Review, verify, and validate structural calculations and construction drawings completed by other engineers * Participate in on-site bridge inspections to assist with identifying deficiencies. * From inspection reports, review of as-built drawings, and previous design documents, develop finite element models of complex bridges and develop load ratings in accordance with AASHTO. * Develop design calculations for bridge rehabilitation and new bridge design projects. * Develop details in Microstation for bridge rehabilitation and new bridge designs. Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; or a Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering desired but not mandatory. EIT is preferred.
