Marcus & Millichap, one of the nation's leading commercial real estate investment services companies, is seeking a candidate for a Data Entry role based in our Calabasas HQ office. This part-time temporary position is project based and is expected to last up to 6 months.

The ideal candidate for the Data Entry position is a data-driven expert with great attention to detail. Candidates who are highly-skilled and motivated, and proficient in database management should apply. Quick and accurate typing skills, impeccable organization, and analytical skills are a must. This is an excellent opportunity for a student with an interest in the field of Human Resources to work in a fast-paced, energetic Human Resources department.

Key responsibilities:

  • E-file information into customer relationship management system

  • Assess information, documents and data records that are deemed incomplete

  • Review source documents and data for duplication

  • Keep detailed records of tasks and progress

  • Correct, verify, and delete non-required data and combine data from several different sources

Requirements:

  • Attention to detail and ability to review one's work for accuracy

  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

  • Proficient in Excel and/or Access with highly accurate typing skills

  • Comprehensive knowledge of data entry; preferably in a customer relations management database system

  • Excellent verbal, written, and social skills

Reporting to the Senior Director of Business Intelligence and Integrations, the Team Lead Data Warehouse will be an integral member of our IT department at our Corporate Support Center in Calabasas, CA. They will partner with the business to understand functional and technical data warehouse requirements and deliver high quality, repeatable data driven solutions. They primarily will be responsible for design, data modeling and development of data warehouse processes, and day to day task management of a small team. As a member of a Business Intelligence & Integrations team, it is essential that this person has the ability to build strong business relationships, execute world-class project management, exhibit deep data warehouse architecture and business analysis expertise, and exert leadership and teamwork skills. Here's more of what you will get to do: * Be responsible for the architecture and design of enterprise Data Warehouse processes while providing technical leadership for Data Warehouse implementation, with design and development standards. * Be responsible for the prompt, courteous and efficient management of all support requests to the Data Warehouse team, including ad-hoc data analysis requests. * Design and develop Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) processes to acquire and load data from internal and external sources. * Be accountable for all aspects of the data warehouse processes including project management, data modeling, ETL, data validation and implementation. * Document and maintain business definitions, data dictionary and data mapping. * Lead day to day tasks for a small data warehouse team * Evaluate current data analysis strategies and work with a team in developing recommendations and improvements. * Provide support to users in training and education on available data tools as required. Qualifications Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. * 7+ years of experience in Information Technology with at least 5+ years in Data Warehouse applications. * 5+ years of experience with the BI/DW lifecycle components including Source Data Analysis, ETL, ODS, Data Marts, Data Mining. * 3+ years proven experience in managing and executing data warehouse initiatives along with providing project management/process support to IT teams. * 3+ years of experience supervising staff. * Microsoft SQL Server Database, Integration Services, DBA Certification desired * Expertise with ETL applications like SSIS, Informatica, Data Stage, etc. * Experience with Big Data technologies like HADOOP, HIVE, etc. * Experience in coding technologies like Python, Java, PHP, SQL * Experience as a SQL Server DBA, as well as experience with Big Data technologies and Real-Time Integration methodologies is strongly preferred * Significant experience with data modeling skills (conceptual, logical and physical model design, Operational Data Stores, Enterprise Data Warehouses and Data Marts) * Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts into comprehensible business terminology * Strong organizational and planning skills and process orientation * Commitment to excellence in service, performance, and execution * Ability to adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment while effectively managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously as well as produce high-quality end to end solutions for complex data problems Benefits: This position offers industry-leading benefits including; medical, dental, vision, 401K with match, tuition reimbursement and a sabbatical after five years of employment for qualifying staff members.
