Summary

We are looking for Data Entry Specialists . Must have strong typing skills and candidates must posses excellent attention to detail. Must be able to accurately record data in a timely manner. Qualified candidates must have experience in a Data Entry or strong typing role.Responsibilities:

  • Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders or optical scanners
  • General office tasks such as answering phones, writing thank you notes, processing paperwork, etc...
  • Type in data provided directly from study participants
  • Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes
  • Verify data by comparing it to source documents
  • Update existing data
  • Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
  • Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
  • Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned


Skills:

  • Proven experience as data entry clerk
  • General office skills
  • Fast typing skills; Knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)
  • Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices
  • Basic understanding of databases
  • Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Timely evaluation/sign-off of study documentation

Working within our Shipping and Receiving office this position will ensure daily operations are handled smoothly, professionally, and accurately.<br></p><p><strong>This is a full-time position. </strong></p><p><strong>$17+ an hour</strong><br></p><p><br></p><p>We seek a detailed individual that can keep a calm and positive demeanor while working under pressure. Someone that can learn new tasks quickly and efficiently, is well organized, and is great at multi-tasking. <br></p><p> Daily responsibilities include:<br></p><ul> <li>Scheduling inbound and outbound deliveries of freight by phone</li> <li>Validating inbound delivery receipts and accurately completing paperwork </li> <li>Generating shipping documents for the warehouse employees and checking in and signing out drivers.</li> <li>Photocopy documents, collate, assemble and distribute materials</li> </ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><br></p><ul> <li>Data entry is a must along with knowledge of programs within the Microsoft Office</li> <li>Previous experience using a Warehouse ManagementSystem along with a background in processing Shipping/Receiving documents.
