Data Entry Clerk

We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for entering data into our systems and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the information. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent typing skills, and the ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Enter data accurately and efficiently into our databases and systems
• Verify and correct any discrepancies in the data
• Maintain data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures
• Prepare and organize source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information
• Review data for errors or inconsistencies, and make necessary corrections
• Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations
• Keep information confidential and secure by adhering to data entry and security policies
• Respond to inquiries regarding data and provide support as needed

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar position
• Excellent typing speed and accuracy
• Proficiency in MS Office and data programs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Basic understanding of databases and data entry procedures
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in data entry or related fields are a plus
