This position performs data entry and helps maintain the accuracy of GEOtrack in relation to the Program Department. It ensures that all necessary events are being entered and maintained in GEOtrack. Assists with daily attendance and generating daily reports in a timely manner to supervisor. Assists with any data downloads from various systems to GEOtrack. Provides support in any and all aspects of GEOtrack as it relates to programming and Continuum of Care (CoC). The sensitive nature of the position requires the incumbent to exercise discretion and retain confidentiality of information obtained by discussions or recorded data.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Adheres to GEO policies, procedures, and specific facility regulations including posted special orders and instructions.

  • Performs data entry and maintenance of GEOtrack for Programs.

  • Enters information into GEOtrack in an accurate and timely manner (enrollment of participants in programs, completing participants, setting up events)

  • Submits required reports relative to GEOtrack, as well as CoC Program.

  • Audits GEOtrack enrollment with the state database (where possible).

  • Receives GEOtrack training will be provided.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED certificate.

  • Ability to work with computers.

  • A thorough understanding of Excel and MS Office Software.

  • Demonstrated experience in office procedures and related clerical duties.

  • Ability to interact in a professional manner in both individual and group settings.

  • Ability to work with a team of inmates and have the ability to implement team strategy approaches to work assignments.

  • Good oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to understand and carry out moderately complex oral and written instructions; to make minor decisions in accordance with rules and regulations as they apply to work problems; to maintain company records; and to meet and deal effectively with the public and inmates.

  • Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.

JOB SUMMARY The Boat Rental Clerk is responsible for assisting boat rental customers in a professional and courteous manner, in addition to providing administrative support to the Office Manager. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS * Greet customers in a professional and courteous manner. * Accurately and thoroughly complete the proper paper work for selected boat and/or PWC rentals. * Organize and prepare reservations on a daily basis according to boat size, trip length, special needs, etc. * Assign customers to the correct boat and/or PWC. * Data enter daily rental sales activity in Itinio and accurately audit and balance against DSR transactions. * Assist with requests and answer questions and provide property information to customers both in person and over the phone in a professional and courteous manner. * Perform check-outs and check-ins for all boat and PWC rentals with rental customers and accurately and thoroughly complete proper check lists. * Perform work in a manner protective of human health and the environment and report any deviations of environmental policy to direct supervisor. * Answer the telephone in a timely, professional and courteous manner. * Maintain a clean and organized work area and clean all rental boat office areas to include dusting file cabinets, sweeping, vacuuming and emptying trash/recycle bins, as needed. * Issue refunds to customers as necessary and provide all customers with customer comment cards upon check-out. * Accurately prepare deposits, fill out deposit slips and deliver to administration daily. * Communicate with customers, Park Service and employees by VHF radio. * Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors * Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work. * Provide information to customers regarding the resort, the general area, and all upcoming resort activities. * Provide information to customers regarding rental vessels and vessel rental procedures and requirements. * Drive/operate a shuttle van and or golf cart outdoors, when needed to transport customers. * Perform boat and/or PWC orientations to train and instruct customers on the safe and proper use of all rental boats and equipment and obtain customer acknowledgment for completed training. * Assist marina store clerks as needed. * All other duties as assigned. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS * High School diploma or GED preferred. * Minimum one year in position with heavy customer contact, preferably in a customer service position * Minimum one year money handling and cash register experience. * Prior experience with general cleaning supplies. * Prior work experience using a cash register, POS system and credit card machine. * Accurate cash handling skills and knowledge including cash register and credit card transactions. * Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) and Internet. * Good organizational, interpersonal, customer service and time-management skills. * Good verbal and written communication skills. * Able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team and to work with employees and vendors at all levels. * Ability to work and communicate effectively with employees at all levels and external contacts. * Good phone etiquette and demeanor. * Consistently friendly, helpful telephone and in-person demeanor * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. * Accurate and proficient typing and 10-key by touch skills. * Basic math skills and knowledge. * Knowledge of proper use of cleaning supplies and proper cleaning techniques. * Ability to keep and maintain organized records and filing systems. * Ability to interact calmly with both customers and employees under stressful conditions. * Honest and trustworthy. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES * Climb stairs and walk/move on a variety of surfaces including tiled, carpeted, concrete, unpaved, uneven and sometimes slippery surfaces. * Balance/stabilize, stand/remain upright and walk on uneven and moving surfaces (marina docks and boats on water). * Step into and onto boats from docks and back to docks safely and repetitively. * Walk/move around within buildings and property. * Stand/remain upright, walk frequently during entire shift up to 4 hours at a time. * Sit/remain seated for up to 2 hours at a time working on a PC using a keyboard, mouse, multi-line phone and 10-key calculator. * Bend, kneel, stoop and/or squat repetitively. * Turn and twist repetitively. * Reach down, forward and overhead. * Carry and use a VHF radio. * Operate cash register, POS system and credit card machine in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment. * Lift and move up to 30 pounds. * Use and operate general office equipment including a computer, mouse, multi-line telephone, fax and copy machines, calculators and credit card machine. * Close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. * Able to use general cleaning supplies. * Valid driver's license and good driving record to drive a shuttle van and/or golf cart, as needed. * Drive/operate a shuttle van and/or golf cart outdoors in a variety of weather conditions including extreme heat, cold and stormy conditions to move from building to building on property, when needed.
