Are you capable of completing data entry tasks quickly and accurately while being mindful of important details? If you answered yes, this job could be for you. An exciting company is searching for a Data Entry Clerk to join their team and have the opportunity for career growth. As the Data Entry Clerk, you will enter large volumes of information into Microsoft Excel and ERP systems and databases, and you will handle additional accounting and finance support functions. This Data Entry Clerk role is a short term temporary opportunity and is based in Miami, Florida. Your responsibilities in this role

  • Gathering and organizing information to be entered into the computer; prioritizing entries

  • Providing assistance with data entry and other administrative tasks

  • Ensuring data entry meets requirements by adhering to program techniques and procedures

  • Working with and maintaining confidentiality of highly sensitive information

  • Processing customer and account source documents, reviewing data and detecting deficiencies

  • Carrying out operations, using policies and procedures; detailing necessary revisions

  • Assisting with special projects as required


  • Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills required

  • Highly organized and self-motivated

  • High school diploma or comparable degree

  • Data entry experience desired

  • Able to work independently with a minimal amount of oversight

  • Perform a data entry speed of 8,000 keystrokes per hour with 100% accuracy

  • 1+ years of experience related to this role

  • Basic knowledge in computer software programs and office equipment

This person will process invoices with or without Purchase Orders in the Accounts Payable system for payment to University vendors. Process invoices: * Review and analyze both hard copy and digital invoices for data-entry readiness. * Keying hard-copy invoices into the Purchasing/AP system as well as keying digital invoices from the Onbase application. This includes verifying invoices with on-line purchase orders & matching invoice line items to purchase order line items. Rejecting invoices that cannot be paid to the appropriate AP Rep. Prepare and provide back-up documentation for checks. Maintain invoice processing stat sheets & invoice files. Assist with front desk reception and incoming calls as required. Assist with invoice indexing & Onbase invoice maintenance. To become knowledgeable in processing invoices via WORKDAY. Replenish Office Supplies. Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent.
