The LCOE (Location Center of Excellence) team is responsible for identifying user location with high accuracy and decorating & contextualizing those location signals to enable content personalization to help provide rich and relevant experience and monetization by targeted advertising. We are developing complex scalable geolocation algorithms to derive deep insights on user location and building user knowledge to improve the quality of the experience.

LCOE's Oath in Three Words: Get Location Right


  • Design and develop fault-tolerant, high-performance, scalable, operable next generation platforms and data pipelines in batch and streaming to derive insights and solve complex problems and use cases.

  • Design/Develop new algorithms solve complex problems to solve business objectives.

  • Adhere to coding and documentation standards, participate in code reviews, and be a critical member of the LCOE engineering team

  • Work closely with product and management teams in influencing priorities

  • Actively participate in the agile development process.

  • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related major

  • Strong fundamentals: data structures and algorithms

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of industry experience and high proficiency with Java

  • Experience working in an Unix environment

  • Strong technical and analytical skills

  • Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Big data technologies a big plus.

  • Experience with machine learning algorithms and/or statistical methods is a big plus.

JOB SUMMARY Outstanding opportunity to work in a highly innovative and fast-paced technology company with a robust product pipeline of data center infrastructure products & applications that need to integrated into the client's data centers globally. Specifically, this opportunity requires program management skills and a "driver" personality to push development of multiple new mechanical product initiatives all relating to process tools commonly found in data center / semiconductor environments. Will manage and lead cross-functional teams of engineers responsible for complex new product development ("NPD") projects that result in the launch of innovative data center products. Will ensure alignment of product and business goals by developing and driving project plans, managing cross-functional teams, and coordinating activities within the established project timelines and budgets set forth by the managing Technical Program Manager in the Product Area. ●Leads cross-functional NPD project teams composed of R&D, Engineers, Operations, Quality and Safety. ●Responsible for overall coordination of the team, their activities and day to day management of the project and documents progress on appropriate cadence. ●Ensures decisions involve the appropriate people and support business and project objectives set forth by the managing Technical Program Manager ●Manages project scope and requirements, cost, and develops and drives project schedules. ●Develops and executes risk management plan and communications plan. ●Skillfully applies and uses the internal NPD process to deliver products to market. Drives continuous NPD process improvement initiatives. ●Manages project resources; highlights dynamic issues and manages the activities of internal and external resources in the planning and execution of projects. ●Solicits assistance from other functional organizations and negotiates for resources as needed. ●Supports Business Reviews and any preliminary or interim reviews related to the project through the reporting Technical Program Manager. ●Supports NPD activities set forth by the managing Technical Program Manager. Other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May lead project teams and/or plan, and supervise assignments of lower level employees.
