Analytica is seeking a Data Engineer to support federal government client engagements in the Washington DC metro area. The ideal candidate will be eager to help a civilian agency produce mission-critical analytics and modernize its enterprise data environment. As a core member, youll work with a diverse team of professionals to develop application systems for clients in a platform-diverse environment.Analytica has been recognized byInc.   • Develop ETL code and scripting to meet all technical specifications and business requirements based on established designs
  • Develop data ingestion and stream-analytic solutions leveraging on premise and cloud-based ETL technologies such as Python and AWS based solutions
  • Deploys application code and analytical models using CI/CD tools and techniques and provides support for deployed data applications and analytical models
Basic Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree in computer science, data science, or equivalent area
  • 5+ years of relevant experience designing conceptual, physical, and logical data models using enterprise data tools
  • 3+ years of experience with relational stores and storage models
  • Experience with technologies such as Python (additional python libraries), SAS, AWS, and Red Hat Linux
  • Experience in strategic data planning, governance, and standards
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft/Windows required
  • Experience in financial regulatory strongly preferred (performing financial analysis or working with mortgage-backed securities and derivatives, etc.)
