Key Responsibilities
- Data Warehouse Development: Design, build, and maintain data warehouses using tools like Snowflake.
- Data Integration: Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from various sources into the data warehouse.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data analysts in the Business Operations department to understand their data needs and provide efficient data solutions.
- Data Management: Ensure data integrity, quality, and security across all data systems.
- Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of data warehouses to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for data processes, architecture, and workflows.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve data-related issues promptly to ensure uninterrupted data access and usability.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Expertise in data warehousing tools like Snowflake.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database management.
- Experience with ETL processes and tools.
- Familiarity with data modeling and design.
- Understanding of data security best practices.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of additional programming languages such as Python or Java.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
