CareHarmony is looking for a creative, Data Engineer to join our team. We are seeking candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment with many moving parts and are relentless in their pursuit of architecting the perfect system!

This position is a jack-of-all-trades role with hands in everything data-related throughout the company. Time may be split between maintaining the data pipeline, providing recommendations on data architecture based on business needs, ensuring data integrity/quality, performing basic integration/ETLs for enterprise clients, and crafting innovative, never-before-seen analytic models with our large datasets (including claims & EHR data). We are looking for someone that loves to build, analyze, and automate!

Position Details/Responsibilities

This is a unique, one-of-a-kind position where you will interact with any and all data processes within the organization. Some of the domains that your role will span include:

Integration: Managing integration and interfaces with existing customers as well as assisting with ETLs or creation of new interfaces as needed.

Architecture: Providing continuous feedback about current data architecture and identifying room for improvement. We move quickly and understand the need for quality data structure to allow for optimal output.

Operational Insights: Analyzing data generated by operations to identify trends and gaps that result in real business impact.

Data Integrity: Building processes to ensure quality and integrity of the data which includes data cleansing as needed

Data Visualization: Slicing data in a visual format that can be easily understood by non-technical users.

Responsible for the analysis of the business intelligence system's requirements, design specifications, design and implementation of ETL processes, validation/accuracy, maintenance, and resource utilization. Must be knowledgeable about creating, enhancing scalability, defining conceptual, logical, and physical models, and able to participate in tool evaluations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS * The incumbent should be able to perform the following functions at a pace and level of performance consistent with the job performance requirements. * Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost, risk, and supportability analyses for total systems to solve complex, non-routine analytics problems. * Leads design and build of analytic solutions using on-premise and cloud technologies supporting all project phases (concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and data archive). * Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer requirements into a solution roadmap that acknowledge technical, data quality, business process, schedule, and cost constraints. * Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into analytic solution specifications. * Responsible for meta data strategy, change data capture and extract strategy, data cleansing and security strategy, various technical standards, performance metrics, and usage capacity metrics. * Works with internal team members; effectively communicates with them in sharing, completing, and reviewing work. Provides documentation, mentoring, and training to stakeholders for solutions built or technologies being deployed. * Manages problem and request tickets for assigned technology. Learn more at MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, business, or engineering. * Seven years of full-time professional experience with progressive responsibility in modern data platform design, API integration, real-time streaming, and message brokering, in addition to data lake/warehouse solution design and development. * Experience must include: three years' experience writing SQL; extensive background building and delivering data warehouse or data lake solutions using Oracle and/or Microsoft technologies such as Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse, Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and Power BI. * Strong functional knowledge of relational database concepts and data structures; demonstration of relational and dimensional data modeling. * Experience with data quality initiatives, scrubbing data, and preparing data. * Experience with data integration/ ETL tools, specifically Talend, Informatica, AWS Glue, Microsoft Azure Data Factory and/or SSIS. * Experience with a programming language such as C#, JavaScript, or PHP. * Two years' experience leading technology based projects. * Experience with large databases or data warehouses in an online production environment. Strong communication skills and ability to engage with senior business leaders. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. * A valid driver's license is required.
