PURPOSE OF THE JOB

As part of SER-LAM Engineering team, we are responsible for the development, deploy and Implementation of Digital solutions as part of the core model of our department, candidate is expected to understand the importance of Data Analytics and the structure required to ease the data flow between different departments, purpose of the job is to support existing infra, create new data-pipelines, and detect improvement points for future developments.

• Collaborate in the generation of data-driven solutions making process, within a lean startup pathway and in collaboration of engineering & mobility experts, data engineers, software engineers, HMI designer and devops.

• Understand the importance of data capture aiming for advance IA/ML Algorithm deployment.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

Key accountabilities:

• Define, develop, manage & sustain the dataflow model.

• Design technical solutions for data-driven approach, including engineering and financial impacts.

• Build multi-tenant streaming and data processing in batch and near-real time flows.

• Lead technical team to define, develop, manage & sustain the data solution including storage, processing units and UI

• Create and maintain web apps used for maintenance data, operational data, and other data sources acquisitions.

• Ensure the good quality of raw data acquisition to ease further analysis.

• Evaluate the opportunities from new technologies.

• Apply strong testing and quality assurance practices.

• Generate insights from data analysis.

• Create outputs for end users based on data analytics.

• Evaluate the opportunities from new mathematical and machine learning technologies.

• Support projects in their development of data - driven solutions

• Contribute to the development of data competency within the company.

• Build feature extraction model and programming.

• Build learning models, including unsupervised predictive models and simulation tool.

• Assess and enhance the data quality of incoming data and model responses.

MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES

Educational Requirements

Mandatory:

• Engineering or master's degree in Computation, Electronics or Mathematics

Desirable:

• PhD in the fields of statistics or machine learning or applied mathematics

Experience

Mandatory:

• Knowledge of the following language: Python or/and R

• Knowledge of Python web development Frameworks.

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JS

• Strong Knowledge of Git,

• SQL and No-SQL data handling

• Experience with LINUX environment (shell scripting) and debugging.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of PHM or Predictive Maintenance

• Knowledge of Traffic modelling

• Knowledge of NLP

• Experience in Sequence mining

• Experience on Railway industry

Competencies & Skills

• Proven track record for designing stable solution, testing, and debugging.

• Proven results of performance increase due to digital solutions implementation on railway industry.

• Proven knowledge of Data analytics applied to Maintenance organization.

• Strong knowledge of data manipulation and data visualization
