Requesting Department:

Engagement Description:

  • Primarily responsible for operating an electronic ID card issuance machine to producing plastic identification cards in accordance with established standards and preparing cards for mailing to subscribers. Responsibilities also include performing routine and preventative maintenance of issuance machines and pulling special requests from production.

  • Experience as a machine operator

  • Must be willing and able to work flexible schedule, including overtime, overnights, weekends, and holidays

  • Must have attention to detail, organization, and strong communication skills

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Experience as a machine operator in a production environment

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated experience using windows-based computer applications

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Experience with ID card issuance machines

  • Experience with ID card issuance software

  • Experience in a production quality assurance environment

Education/Certifications:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.

This position will also be responsible for working with the Sales team to provide product demonstrations as well as providing informal technical training to customers and employees on CNC product operations and programming capabilities.<br /> <br /> This position will require a high percentage (60% or more) of travel, so candidates should be comfortable being on the road most of the time. Candidates for this position should also be open to spending time within the first year of employment at the Company’s headquarters in Germany for training.<br /> <br /> <strong><u>Why Work for SW North America </u></strong><br /> The Application Engineer will have the responsibility to provide highly qualified application support for SW North America products and turnkey projects in-house as well as onsite at customers.
