Data/Development Project Manager

  • Work directly with Development, Data, Analytics & Reporting team members including Programmers, Data Processing Specialists, Business Intelligence Analysts and Report Writers.

  • Facilitate successful client campaign deployments by partnering with client, wellness, data, development and print organizations.

  • Collaborate with other project managers to coordinate resources across departments

  • Facilitate collaboration with resources across development organizations

  • Manage internal meetings to ensure agenda items are discussed and action items are clearly identified

  • Work to develop agendas and take meeting minutes

  • Create and manage project plans and timelines through completion

  • Track data-related products and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met

  • Clearly communicate project status to all internal stakeholders

  • Keep organized files of all project related materials

  • Ramping up and managing project methodology transitions from Waterfall to Agile

  • Serve as the liaison between internal resources and management

  • Adhere to strict HIPAA security and privacy policies and procedures

  • Adhere to strict Information Security Protocols and policies

  • Complete annual HIPAA and Medicare Fraud, Waste and Abuse training


  • Minimum of 5 years project management experience is required.

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, IT, Healthcare, or related required.

  • Project Management Institute (PMI) certification a plus.

  • Fluent in MS Office suite of products including MS Project.

  • Experience with various project management methodologies preferred.

  • Atlassian experience preferred.

  • Familiarity with software development, reporting and database terminologies

  • Ability to review project deliverables for completeness, quality, and compliance with established project standards.

  • Ability to document and communicate the status of progress against plans, taking corrective action as necessary

  • Ability to applying different PM approaches and methodology to direct the work of data and analytics teams in keeping projects on track

  • Experience in creating a collaborative team environment, building strong relationships, negotiation, solving problems and issues, resolving conflicts, managing resources in a matrix environment, communicating and influencing effectively at all levels of an organization required.

  • Ability to follow-up on all tasks related to the project, communicate status, and work through issues as they arise.

Job Overview Daimler Trucks is establishing a new, international research & development department to bring automated and electric driving technologies to series production. The Business Development team will closely work with this new group to develop robust business cases related to CASE topics (Connected, Autonomous, Shared & Services, and Electric). You will work with senior leadership at Daimler to shape and define business models that leverage existing capabilities and evaluate external partnerships to support Daimler Trucks' long-term vision. Responsibilities * Create, manage, and maintain a complex calendar, including internal and external meetings in a dynamic environment. Includes scheduling meetings, anticipating and managing workflow time and booking appropriate travel accommodations. * Proactively anticipate the needs of the department and gather appropriate people and resources to meet those needs. Project manage tasks to ensure timely follow up on self-assigned tasks. * Provides a bridge for smooth communication between DVS team office and internal departments; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support. * Organize, prepare and/or provide the necessary materials and documentation for meetings.
