Job Summary:

The Office of Institutional Analytics at Rollins College is currently seeking a Data Coordinator to join their team! This position provides administrative and technical support to the Director of Institutional Analytics on projects related to accreditation, program assessment and ad-hoc reporting, data governance, and the maintenance of business intelligence tools.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with campus partners and IT to understand objectives and goals for data reporting needs.

  • Prepare and deliver information to campus partners.

  • Collaborate with the Asst. Provost for Institutional Effectiveness to extract data and generate reports to support assessment of student learning, accreditation self-studies, and institutional effectiveness. Provide support to program directors and deans for discipline-specific external accreditation self-study reports.

  • Administer internal surveys using tools like Qualtrics in collaboration with campus partners.

  • Manage special research, data collection, and benchmarking projects.

  • Develop and maintain documentation for campus data resources.

  • Administer surveys from publishers such as HERI, NSSE etc.

  • Support the college's effort in responding to surveys from Princeton Review, US News, etc. in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Assist in the preparation and administration of Data Governance Committee meetings, take and distribute notes, and coordinate activities.

  • Maintain the Institutional Analytics website.

Minimum

Qualifications and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Relevant experience handling administrative tasks in a data team.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred

Qualifications:

  • Experience working in higher education administration.

  • Experience with statistical applications such as SAS, Stat, and SPSS.

  • Experience using survey tools such as Qualtrics, Survey Monkey, Google Forms, etc.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information in accordance with state, federal, and institutional guidelines.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Strong quantitative literacy skills.

  • Willingness and ability to expand technical skills.

  • Knowledge and practice of multi-tasking, organizational, and time management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and to collaborate with others in a team-driven environment.

Work Environment:

  • Campus-based position working in an office environment.

  • Work requires visual strain and the use of a computer.

  • Must maintain a professional/business work environment.
