The Data Coordinator supports the investor relations team through the analysis of portfolio data and preparation of numerous Excel due diligence questionnaires, written responses to RFPs (requests for proposal), and ad-hoc client requests for existing and potential investors. The Data Coordinator will work closely with both the investor relations and portfolio management teams.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Accounting or a related field of study from an accredited institution; and

  • Between 1-2 years of experience in a related field; or

  • Any combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Produce quarterly investor and consultant reporting materials including questionnaires and due diligence requests, most of which are in Excel and require gathering and calculating data

  • Prepare clear and concise reports, correspondence and other written materials

  • Maintain all database(s) and/or tracking logs related to department functions or activities

  • Provide quantitative review of standard marketing information materials including pitch books and fact sheets

  • Proofread and edit documents

  • Develop a strong understanding of Jamestown L.P.'s entire portfolio and services

  • Work with financial models in Excel as directed by senior professionals

  • Perform research as directed

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Knowledge of:

  • MS Excel with a focus on organization of portfolio data using basic functions such as pivot tables, vlookup, sumif

  • MS Word including formatting large documents

  • Adobe Acrobat PDF

Abstracts demographic, diagnostic, and epidemiologic treatment and survival information from inpatient and outpatient reports, records, and electronic databases. Increases the functionality of the Cancer Registry to meet the needs of internal customers and members of the department. May manage projects related to data acquisition and tracking that are not related to a database. Proactively supports efforts that ensure delivery of safe patient care and services and promote a safe environment at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. EDUCATION * High school diploma or equivalent CERTIFICATION SUMMARY * No professional certifications required EXPERIENCE* * 4 years of experience in database management or related field PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS* * Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field * CTR certified or eligible * Experience working with Epic * Clinical research experience in a hospital setting KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES* * Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and other report-writing programs * Demonstrated written/verbal communication skills * Organization skills to manage time effectively and coordinate multiple projects * Demonstrated teaching skills JOB RESPONSIBILITIES* * Reads and interprets the various components of the medical record, such as pathology reports, radiology x-rays and scans, physical findings, and all treatment modalities, and uses the information to correctly abstract and stage cancer cases employing various required staging systems. * Determines the site of origin (topography) and histologic type (morphology) of the cancer and codes according to the International Classification of Diseases for Oncology (ICD-O), ICD-9, and other coding standards. * Accurately abstracts health information from the computerized and paper-based medical records into the oncology registry software maintaining no greater than a 6-month backlog for first time diagnosis to abstraction at all times. * Stages cancer records according to the American Joint Commission of Cancer TNM Staging System, as well as the SEER Summary Staging System, and collaborative staging system. * Maintains the components of the cancer-related data collection system consistent with all regulatory and procedural policies. * Conducts the timely submission of oncology data to the Georgia Center for Cancer Statistics. SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITIES* Safety: Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for the reporting of employee/patient/visitor injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to the supervisor and in the occurrence notification system. Compliance: Monitors and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and policies and procedures related to area of responsibility. Identifies potential risk areas within area of responsibility and supports problem resolution process. Maintains records of compliance activities and reports compliance activities to the Compliance Office.
