Data Center Operations Technician

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Prepare and rotate daily backup media for offsite storage

• Execute large-run print jobs and operate a folding machine, maintaining quality control guidelines

• Monitor and report any errors resulting from the execution of critical processes

• Troubleshoot problems relating to printing and data center infrastructure with the escalation of issues to vendors

QUALIFICATIONS

• Preference given to candidates who maintain or are working toward a degree/certification in a technical (STEM) field, but a high school diploma and one year of experience in hardware and software support in a LAN environment can substitute in lieu of a degree/certification

• Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office software

• Time-management skills and the ability to establish and meet deadlines

• Professional written communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work on-site daily

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Standard office environment with frequent computer use

• Occasional positioning or moving materials weighing in excess of 25 pounds
