Everest Insurance has a great opportunity for a Data Asset Management Business Lead that will drive data strategy, quality, and governance to ensure consistent and high-quality data across the Everest Insurance organization focusing on the end product of strong analytics, management reporting, and business intelligence used for strategic decision-making.

As a key leader within the Corporate Underwriting/Business Performance Management team, this role will coordinate closely with the IT organization and numerous functional areas and underwriting leadership.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sustainable solutions for ensuring high quality data/reporting throughout the organization
Identify data-quality related issues and take actions to understand root cause and remediate problems
Drive/execute on strategic initiatives that allow us to leverage additional data sources/elements for increased business insights
Coordinate closely with IT Leaders, to implement and maintain consistent data governance and quality improvement initiatives across functional areas

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required
10 or more years of work experience in Data, Analytics, Underwriting or Actuarial roles
Strong work experience in Property & Casualty Insurance Industry required
Deep understanding of Commercial Lines analytics/metrics/KPIs
Management experience preferred
Data Management Certifications or equivalent work experience desired
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint) skills required; SQL skills preferred

About the Role: The Technology Services Department of Everest Global Services, a member of the Everest Re Group, Ltd. is looking for a Director of Business Systems Analysis to join our Liberty Corner, NJ office. Responsibilities: The Director of Business Systems Analyst in Everest Technology Services is the primary liaison between the business stakeholders and technology teams. As such, the Business Analyst leverages their listening and interviewing skills to understand their business partner's needs and system issues, and to recommend creative and viable solutions. He/She will translate these business solutions into comprehensive and clear specifications utilizing templates and tools consistent with the development methodology being employed. The Director of Business Systems Analyst participates in all phases of the software development life cycle, able to collaborate with other Business Analyst/Product Owners, Technical and Quality Assurance peers to assure successful solution delivery. Projects range from minor enhancements to large scale system implementations, and responsibilities include production support on assigned systems. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Act as a liaison between the client area, technical organization, and other affected areas in planning, directing and conducting the analysis of business problems. * Develop project proposals and estimates that reflect understanding of business needs and relevant technology solutions * Employ the proper elicitation technique to ensure requirements are appropriately and efficiently identified, analyzed and documented using industry standard analysis techniques. * Suggest creative technical and/or process solutions to identified business needs * Develop detailed business and functional requirements, using templates and tools consistent with the methodology being employed * Collaborate with project team to ensure cohesive delivery and traceability of documentation.
