Position Summary

The Data Governance Architect is a seminal and Influential role to craft and develop Data Governance capability

in STERIS to world-class levels. There is strong growth opportunity as the Data and Analytics Governance

organization develops. This person will empower STERIS' digital transformation to make the company more datadriven

in its decision making. This is a challenging and rewarding position as it involves design for challenging

Mergers and Acquisitions and Divestiture environment. There is vital, formative capability for Data and Analytics

Center of Excellence. There is an opportunity to work with a variety of Data types including Big Data and IoT.

What You Will Do

You will develop the roadmap, policies and procedures to ensure consistency in how data is sourced and used

across STERIS to ensure data quality and integrity. Additionally, the Data Architect will identify map, document

and increase visibility of enterprise data for Reporting, Analytics and Data Science solutions using STERIS data

architecture guidelines. This person will work with STERIS business stakeholders to develop, implement, maintain

and propagate STERIS-wide data management policies, standards and guidelines related to data assets. There

will also be an element of Master Data Management responsibilities in which you will partner with business

stakeholders to develop a Master Data Management program and develop a technology implementation plan for

key data elements across applications and databases.

What You Need to be Successful

  • Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.

  • You will have seven or more years of IT and/or Data Governance experience including: Data Quality, Reference Data, Master, Data, Metadata, Practices, Catalog, Classification and Glossary development

  • 3 or more years of experience with data modeling & data architecture.

  • 2 or more years of experience with a commercial ERP environment; Oracle preferred.

  • 3 or more years of experience with Master Data Management.

  • 1 or more years of experience in with Cloud based Data Lakes, Structured and unstructured data, software

  • development

Position Summary: As the Sterilization Data Analyst, you will develop and implement supporting applications, programs, data resources, and functions relating to the productivity of STERIS's sterile processing equipment. These functions will enable sales execs and project managers to respond to sales opportunities with competitive, strategic, and accurate information. This information includes metrics on healthcare instrument reprocessing equipment such as: production capacity, utility consumptions, cycle times, acquisition equipment costs & operational equipment costs. What You Will Do: * Identify and understand customer requirements in the areas ofproductivity services, utilizing company resources to respond to those requirements relating to equipment capacity planning, equipment comparisons, ROI's, and cost analyses,information gathered at Customer site, R&D/Engineering Sites, or using survey platforms when necessary * Develop and maintain capacity standards, STERIS data, competitive data, and cost analyses for IPT Capital Equipment and related consumables for the Global IPT market and STERIS Marketing support. These standards are developed by performing work cycle / time studies and keeping current on clinical industry standards. * Architect and prepare specialized and complex reports and analyses, i.e. equipment sizing studies and equipment comparisons for presentation to Customers * Research materials and collateral, enabling sales teams to respond to bids, RFPs, Customer inquiries, competitive situations to position STERIS for winning sales projects * Identify and communicate areas where STERIS has opportunities to improve in areas such as costs, production capacity, ROI through current market research, competitive landscapes, and Customer VOCs. Communicate these to marketing teams and executive leadership as needed or necessary * Support marketing and engineering channels in the development of new products, integration of external products, and the improvement of existing products to ensure economic and productivity benefits are preserved or improved by participating in new product development work groups, integration teams, and continuous improvement (Kaizen) events. * Supportdevelopment and conductprogram training for Planning Group as well as field sales and project teams * Identify improved methods relative to stated responsibilities and related Planning Group activities. Lead with a LEAN mindset and utilize LEAN tools as required for position. Work with manager to evaluate and implement these methods where appropriate What You Need to be Successful: * Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of experience in analytics, materials planning, materials processing, materials management or transportation systems. A degree focused in finance, accounting, engineering, information systems, biomedical engineering or statistics is preferred. In lieu of bachelor's degree 7+ years of related experience is required. * Mastery of Microsoft Excel and data file management is required. Demonstrated proficiency, knowledge and ability to program, using application-oriented languages. Proficient in MS Word, Access, and Power Point. * Three (3) years of working and understanding of day to day activities and functions of sterile processing in a healthcare facility is preferred. Also experience in a production line environmentwill be considered * Demonstrated detailed knowledge of standards for hospital operations, infection control, processing, and surgical methods * Management / Supervisory work experience in sterile processing with CRCST or CSPDT certifications preferred. * Thorough understanding and knowledge of the application of STERIS products or it's competitors preferred * Demonstrated ability to work effectively with department personnel and those in related departments * Demonstrated organization, problem-solving skills.
