The following benefits are available to all employees working 20+ hours/week on a pro-rata basis - starting from DAY 1!

Paid Holidays
Starting wage: $21.00-$23.00/hour, DOE.

What Skills do you need?
The Data and Support Specialist must meet the following requirements to succeed in this role:
Associate degree or equivalent and one year work experience in Information Systems.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
A curious mindset and eager attitude to learn about Agency business processes and technical tools.
A strong ability to teach others. An outgoing, patient personality is imperative.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft products.
Excellent time-management skills and accountability.
A background in training - especially in Information Systems/IT realm is strongly preferred.
About the Team
The IT/Data department of Alternatives, Inc. is small but mighty.
You will be joining a leader who has been with the Agency since 2020 and who excels in keeping our systems running and managed on a day-to-day basis.
She is ready to help you learn your role and excel in training our Agency staff in various software programs.
What will you do in this position?
First and foremost, this is a staff training position. You will help develop, implement, and oversee ongoing IT/Software training for Agency staff. You will help teach new staff proprietary Agency software, Microsoft programs, and other various software programs as needed; as well as share updates and new training lessons with tenured staff, as needed.
You will also help support setting up login credentials, shutting down Agency employee accounts as needed, and overall IT support along with the Technical Program Manager.
Our Data and Software Support Specialist will need to have interpersonal skills to work with employees and third-party IT support agencies.
