Berry College invites applications for the Data and Gifty Entry Specialist. The successful candidate will report, and assist the Director, Advancement Operations and Services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION (MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)
Responsible for maintaining accurate giving and contact information for our database of alumni, donors, and friends
Enters all gifts in a timely and accurate manner and identifies and corrects errors as needed
Works with staff across the Advancement Department on gift documentation and as questions arise about gifts
Works with the Business Office to balance each month, quarter, and year, and on other data and reports as needed
Answers gift-related questions from donors via email and phone when needed
ADDITIONAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION
KEY COMPETENCIES AND KNOWLEDGE
Familiarity with database/CRM best practices and functionality
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (primarily Word and Excel)
Ability to manage long periods of data entry with consistent and accurate results; maintain the input and filing of data by best practices, company policy, and applicable laws.
Requirements:
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Basic bookkeeping knowledge
Experience in higher education and/or fundraising
Experience with Salesforce or other similar CRM software
