Demonstrates extensive knowledge of, and proven success with a role, executing various aspects of the business or information technology-related client engagements and/or projects within a professional services environment, including knowledge of an industry or functional domain and specialization in at least three of the following areas:
Demonstrating core data management capabilities (ingest, integration, modeling, MDM, quality management, reporting);
Utilizing Data Engineering techniques such as modeling, warehousing and administration and ETL in traditional RDBMS and Hadoop environments;
Demonstrating statistical analysis and techniques; and,
Utilizing Advanced Analytics techniques such as machine learning, NLP, simulation and optimization.
Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in working with analytical models or techniques and the ability to apply such methods to an applicable challenge within the larger field of specialization. This background should include:
Managing information strategy & architecture experience (includes Data Integration, Master Data Management, Data Quality Management, Metadata Management, Data Governance);
Demonstrating understanding of the payer value chain (e.g., cost of care, population health management, actuarial, claims; processing, fraud-waste-abuse, move to value-based care etc.) would be a plus;
Utilizing application of analytical skills to solve data-centric business problems related to the healthcare sector (e.g. Payer - Outreach models, Disease progression models, Readmission prediction models);
Preparing data management foundational experience (includes data analysis, data modeling, data warehouse design, Business Intelligence and reporting);
Utilizing experience interfacing with business and data-science organizations across various levels to gather and document business, functional, and technical requirements;
Demonstrating experience interfacing with IT organizations to conduct impact assessments, system design, and data analysis based on business, functional and technical requirements;
Demonstrating experience working with geographically dispersed teams and managing offshore resources; and,
Building hands-on experience leading implementations of data management, reporting and analytics solutions using various methodologies (waterfall, agile, iterative development).
Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in consulting-related projects within a professional services environment, including:
Managing and analyzing large and complex data sets to solve business challenges and present insights to non-analytics minded individuals;
Managing, collaborating and contributing as a team member: understanding personal and team roles, contributing to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members, proactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedback;
Preparing, identifying and addressing client needs, building relationships with clients, developing requests for information,demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks, communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor;
Prioritizing and handling multiple tasks, researching and analyzing pertinent client, industry and technical matters, utilizing problem-solving skills, and communicating effectively in written and verbal formats to various management levels and external;
Coaching and collaborating with associates who assist with this work, including providing coaching, feedback and guidance on work performance; and,
Applying analytical techniques correlated to business value and selecting the appropriate analytical techniques for the problem at hand.
