We are looking for a Data Analytics Specialist who has worked with or has a strong interest in agile software development practices and delivering deployable software in short sprints. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Collect, leverage, analyze and document data wrangling and automated visualizations/analytics, while interfacing with end users;

  • Design data modeling processes to create algorithms and predictive models and perform custom analysis;

  • Manipulate large data sets to identify trends and reach meaningful conclusions to inform strategic business decisions; and

  • Design, create, and manage a modern application that is new development and cloud native, and work in a SecDevOps environment and data architecture that includes continuous integration/deployment, test automation within a consistent agile software development framework.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline

  • Possess at least 5 years of data analytics/data science experience to include working on complex data challenges in the areas of artificial intelligence, data architecture and engineering, data science, data analysis and visualization, machine learning, and technical innovation.

  • Strong software development background using Agile or DevOps methods and deep familiarity with cloud-native technologies

  • Experience implementing or migrating to Cloud environments like Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.

  • Knowledge of Agile Scrum sprint planning, artifact creation, sprint testing, regression testing, demonstrations, retrospectives and solution releases

  • Experience in conceptualizing and prioritizing data analysis and visualization requirements

  • Experience supporting complicated problems and providing solutions that are highly creative and ingenious, exhibiting creativity and resourcefulness

  • Knowledge of development languages like Python and R

  • Experience and knowledge of at least one of the following data analytic and visualization tools: IBM Cognos, QLIK, Tableau, and/or SAP Business Objects

  • Strong analytic, critical thinking, organizational, and interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently or in a team

  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in the architecture and optimization of data schemas, petabyte-scale ETL, etc.

  • Experience in statistical, geospatial, link, temporal, and predictive analysis, especially for IC agencies

  • Experience building and implementing artificial intelligence, neural networks, deep learning, or machine learning capabilities in software applications in a national security or academic environment.

  • Experience with NoSQL environments, conducting analytics, and producing visualization using open source software

  • Knowledge of Customer's internal processes and procedures

In this role, your primary responsibility will be to detect, identify, and respond to cyberattacks to ensure safety across military domains. Your duties will include: conducting integrated and synchronized offensive cyberspace operations by targeting enemy and hostile adversary activities; conduct defense operations to protect data, networks, net-centric capabilities, and other systems; and detect, identify, and respond to attacks against friendly networks with lethal and nonlethal actions that enable commanders to gain advantages in cyberspace.
