Data Analytics Senior Manager

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Data Analytics Senior Manager for its Irving, Texas location.

Duties: Design and deliver the Big Data Analytics software solutions for retail bank, credit cards, and digital functions, using big data tools and technologies including Cloudera Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Impala.

Define and produce relevant Big Data Analytical applications that drive new customer acquisition, retention, and growth strategies, utilizing and developing architecture patterns needed to build batch and real time data pipelines. Drive technical solutions for business projects, oversee preparation of technical design and adherence to architecture guidelines. Interact with business analysts, cross-product architecture, and other stakeholders to finalize technical designs.

Lead software development implementation efforts. Ensure software is deployed in test and production environments according to approved standards and implementation guidelines, using agile methodology and CICD tools (GIT, Bitbucket, RLM, Jenkins). Prepare technical design conduct for senior management reviews. Provide technical direction and mentor team of employees, contractors, and junior developers. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 5 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as a Data Analytics Manager, Data Engineering Manager, Software Developer, or related position involving Big Data analysis in Retail and Commercial Banking domain in Hadoop ecosystem. 5 years of experience must include:

Data modeling in Hadoop big data environment; Python, Scala, Spark; HDFS, Map Reduce, Hive; ELT techniques; SQL, Unix; Extracting and organizing data from structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sources; Control-M, Autosys; and Project Management.
