ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Data & Analytics Director will be a thought leader in helping the agency and clients deliver best-in-class data science and analysis. They will work closely with senior clients as well as internally across account services, creative, and strategists to deliver exceptional, results-focused actionable analytics and optimization programs that drives clear ROI. They will develop measurement frameworks across campaigns, and support standard internal data needs for clients and new business (social listening, monitoring, reporting, measuring - social, digital media, traditional media, and offline data). The Director needs to be able to add a creative lens to numbers (deriving insights and opportunities that can't be seen by everyone else).
Responsibilities:
Manage the measurement and optimization programs across clients or client social media channels and help clients define goals and key drivers across all digital platforms
Manage client site digital measurement and testing strategy
Understand and champion actionable attitudinal and behavioral data collection and analysis
Provide an analytical and quantitative methodology for behavioral segmentation for clients
Manage team members and/or direct reports to complete assigned projects on time and within budget. Mentor and train junior staff
Manage and report on ROI of measurement and optimization programs for clients
Drive business development both within existing clients and prospects
Support the broader strategy team with data driven insights that are relevant to client needs
Skills & Experience:
Experience in actionable analytics and optimization or offline equivalent (media/creative testing, social media analytics, digital ad analytics)
Ability to derive and present insights from data with a strong focus on storytelling and data visualization
Familiarity with digital analytics tools and measurement across web, social media, and digital ads
Ability to define A/B/n and multivariate test scenarios and success metrics
Understanding of basic hypothesis testing and regression analysis
Ability to monetize financial gains from optimization projects and to prioritize projects based on ROI impact
Ability to build segments and predictive models based on quantitative and qualitative research
Experience in strategic marketing and/or business management
Ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines within the creative department
