PRIMARY PURPOSE: To collect, analyze and report data; to be responsible for the data integrity; and to generate reports verifying and ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Compiles data; prepares and distributes reports; and analyzes results.

  • Ensures data integrity; develops and produces reports utilized in measuring data accuracy.

  • May assist in the completion of appropriate client set-up and maintenance (parameter) forms.

  • Supports internal and external users including reports, installation, screen, etc.

  • Creates exception reports to identify fields of incorrect data.

  • Generates custom reports for internal and external client.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Supports the organization's quality program(s).

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Licensing

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.

Experience

Five (5) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Two (2) years query and report writing experience strongly preferred.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of query and report writing

  • Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills

  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products

  • Analytical and interpretive skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies

The position will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for various technical processes/systems and business requirements. Preferred: MBA or Master's Degree Technical Skills: Data analysis, Access (Intermediate proficiency), Excel (intermediate proficiency), Visio, MS SQL Server and SSRS/SSIS Interpersonal Skills: Critical thinking, problem solving, analytical, and written and verbal communication. Position Related Experience: 3-4 years of job-related experience. OR any combination of education and work experience which permits the candidate to meet position work requirements. MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Business Acumen: Identify and develop process improvements and methods to evaluate and validate results. Develop and implement resolutions aimed at data quality enhancements. Exhibits strong written and verbal communication skills. Evaluate and identify process improvements Possesses strong quantitative analysis skills. Engagement: Ensure tasks and deliverables are completed on time to minimize business impacts. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and quality Consistently engages with Energy Efficiency Department to strengthen communication and support business needs. Oversee the elements of vendor management for the Energy Efficiency IT department and serve as the central point person between various operational functions and cross-functional teams to carry out various activities including, but not limited to: reconciliation/auditing, feedback, system configuration, Team oriented with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers and management team Functional Expertise: Salesforce administration including but not limited to setting up/deactivating users; adding/modifying new fields/objects/page layouts/etc. Manage the Energy Efficiency's Salesforce platform and perform hands-on technical implementations and deliver functional solutions Manage Salesforce page layouts, security permissions, and code development/deployment (Apex and VisualForce) Manage the SharePoint administration, including but not limited to, setting up/deactivating users; granting permissions; creation of new subsites/document libraries as requested Design and implementing solutions related to all aspects of data analytics, including mining, generation, and data visualization. Develop/test/deploy updates as needed in multiple development and production environments Utilize Microsoft Management Studio and SQL Server to develop complex SQL's to query the energyENGINE database Implement Business Intelligence solutions (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) to develop innovative methods to visualize data Develop and run complex queries for ad hoc business data requests. Develop solutions to complex analytical/data-driven problems. Support system enhancements and new technology solution projects on behalf of the business. Manage and configure the STARS 1099 Database, IBM Watson/Silverpop, and SmartSheet systems/platforms Utilize SQL programming and report-writing development life cycle to include planning, design, documentation, programming and testing experience. Driving Results: Develop and implement recommendations for future enhancements Conduct quarterly security and audit reviews Participate in system implementations to support the overall EEP department Operate as a self-starter, be able to work independently, and proactively seek innovative approaches. Create visual reports (e.g. tables, charts, graphs) for department KPI's and other metrics. There is significant independent data analysis and validation when developing complex queries for ad hoc business requests. The position requires daily interaction with internal and external partners that varies from day-to-day. Due to the interaction with data files, they will determine the best course of action to assure data validation and error resolution.
