The Opportunity
The Data Analyst will provide technical and functional support to our transaction card (Tcard) market through creating, transforming, and implementing solutions for production. The Data Analyst is responsible for learning our customer's specifications, goals and priorities to develop and transform data for production. The Data Analyst will have business acumen and will need working knowledge of general end to end Tcard processes.
How you will impact WestRock:
Ensure data integrity and program accuracy through quality assurance activities and troubleshooting
Use processes and systems in place to transform and prepare data for production activities.
Utilize systems to maintain and update T-SQL database as necessary for production and reporting
Maintains confidentiality of data and programs
Work with WestRock's Tcard development segment to develop business cases for technology solutions.
Gather and document business functional requirements for technology solutions.
Addresses internal data processing issues as required
Research and understand industry best practices in technical and functional business areas in order to recommend & enable business processes, driving improvements in workflow and increasing business productivity.
What you need to succeed:
Must have high school diploma or G.E.D.
Experience facilitating requirements gathering sessions
Internal client-facing engagement/working relationships
Strong process and analytical skills
Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative problem-solving skills, ability to listen to and understand needs across diverse stakeholders at various levels of the organization
Possess an understanding of T-SQL
Thorough understanding of manufacturing processes.
Proficient in documenting work flows
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, or related area of study;
Experience in manufacturing environment
Industry experience: Transaction cards (Tcards)
