Responsible for managing all aspects of daily, weekly, monthly and annual reporting including the design, development, testing, documentation, maintenance and analysis of database queries and reports. Presents analyses results/recommendations to customer leadership directly in a timely, consistent, and accurate manner. Recommends and implements new or modified reporting methods and procedures to improve report content and completeness of information. Provides subject matter expertise on all data elements and report content related to the data warehouse. Coordinates with end users, the data warehouse developers, DBA's, and the change/release manager to ensure total system quality assurance is met at all times.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Designs, develops, tests, documents and maintains database queries and reports related to - but not limited to - customer service, enrollment, eligibility, claims, and physician offices

  • Works with customers to define and document additional requirements to enrich reporting capabilities and assists in coordination of user acceptance testing

  • Develops systematic reporting processes and procedures to ensure timely delivery of daily, weekly, monthly, annual and ad hoc reporting to management

  • Troubleshoots data integrity issues, analyzes data for completeness to meet business needs, and proposes documented solution recommendations

  • Converts complex data from multiple sources into meaningful, professional and easy to understand formats for various audiences as defined by department guidelines

  • Supports reporting and analysis on all business initiative projects

  • Recommends and implements new or modified reporting methods and procedures to improve report content and completeness of information

  • Troubleshoots and coordinates resolutions for all issues related to reports supported by the department

  • Executes release management process to promote changes into production

  • Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology or related field (4 years of comparable work experience beyond the required years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor's degree)

  • 4 years of reporting/analytic experience

  • Proficiency in SQL and developing efficient, well performing queries

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with performance tuning tools and/or techniques

  • Experience in a managed care environment

  • Experience in Medicare Advantage Part D (MAPD) operations

  • Familiarity with MS Reporting Services (SSRS), Power BI, Tableau or other Reporting Tools

  • Experience building tabular models in SSAS

  • Familiarity with SSIS

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving capabilities with special attention to accuracy and detail

  • Self-starter with a proven ability to take ownership of job responsibilities and ensure successful completion of all projects and requests

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with all levels of management, including executive and senior management teams

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task in high volume workload situations

Physical & Mental Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

  • Ability to push or pull heavy objects

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time

The Healthcare Coordinator is responsible for successfully supporting patients with stable chronic health conditions to navigate the healthcare system. The Healthcare Coordinator assists in developing patient empowerment by acting as an educator, resource, and advocate for patients and their families to ensure a maximum quality of life. The Healthcare Coordinator interacts and collaborates with multidisciplinary care teams, to include physicians, nurses, pharmacists, laboratory technologists, social workers, and other educators. The Healthcare Coordinator works in a less structured, self-directed environment and performs all nursing duties within the scope of a LVN/LPN license of the applicable state board of nursing.
