The Data Analyst is responsible for the design, development, and distribution of business intelligence deliverables and solutions which support the reporting and general information needs of the organization, and assists the business in making informed decisions.


Availability to work 40 hours per week between the hours of Monday through Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm at our Burnsville, MN office.

In addition;

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

  • 2+ years of experience developing with SQL/T-SQL.

  • 2+ years of experience developing with Python, R, JavaScript or other languages used in data analysis and visualization.

  • 2+ years of experience using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) with Visual Studio or other ETL tools.

  • 2+ years of experience using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) or other report development tools.

  • 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or other BI tools.

  • 2+ years of experience of database development with SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB, or other database systems.

  • Expert knowledge of database architecture, concepts and tools.

  • Previous experience in the financial services industry preferred.

  • Previous experience with ITIL preferred.

  • Previous experience working with APIs and microservices preferred.

  • Previous experience with cloud services and technologies such as Microsoft Azure or AWS preferred.

  • Previous experience working with graph databases preferred.

  • Previous experience working with data streaming technologies preferred.

  • Previous experience with the Jack Henry PowerOn language is a plus.

  • Ability to reason through logic problems and apply creative thinking.

  • Ability to learn new programming languages and technologies.

  • Ability to transform data into formats easily digestible to end-users.

  • Ability to understand, interpret, and analyze data quickly and accurately.

  • Ability to work in an agile environment on multiple projects at a time.

  • Strong verbal, documentation, and written communication skills.

  • Ability to maintain compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and all its provisions.

  • Ability to pass all pre-employment drug test and various background checks.

We are a growing company with plans to expand into new markets and our looking to build our team with great leaders who are focused on developing and supporting their team to success.</p><p>PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:</p><p>Partner with Finance business function, be the Subject matter expert in Data &amp; Analytics department for finance function, Gather and Analyze requirements, Do the data modeling, Wireframe the Dashboard requirements, partner with Data architects, Data Engineers and Data Visualization Engineers to meet the needs of business.</p><p>MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:</p><p>1.Owns a Data and Analytics Product focused on Finance function.</p><p>2.Analyze and understand various source systems and related data structures.</p><p>3.Gather, analyze and document business requirements in Data &amp; Analytics domain.</p><p>4.Work with Data Architect and do the data model for a given business function and ensure adherence to a common data model.</p><p>5.Collaborate with Data Engineers/Data Visualization Engineers, provide them with Data mapping documents and wireframe documents.</p><p>6.Ensures that the Data &amp; Analytics solutions delivered meet customer needs.</p><p>7.Be the SME/Authority on Data and Visualization assets for a given finance function.</p><p>8.Completes change requests for new reports and enhancements in a timely manner with high quality.</p><p>9.Works collaboratively and effectively communicates with others across departments in order to perform and complete necessary tasks and projects.</p><br><ol start="10"><br><li><p>Follows established Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), change control, release management and incident management processes while developing and deploying standard reports.</p></li><li><p>Provides recommendations on the availability of existing reports and suggests opportunities to improve reporting solutions. Also, suggests improvements to the data model where applicable.</p></li><li><p>Builds and maintains relationships cross-functionally in order to stay current with the needs and operations of the business functional areas supported.</p></li><li><p>Keeps manager informed of important developments, potential problems, and related information necessary for effective management.
